Runeous: Part One ] No real emotional connection to the characters Art of the characters are decent but they do not look very charming Plot / story was alright but everything is just being introduced since it is still Part One Music is repetitive The narrators are annoying Background is nice tho. A very short VN with simple interface, and nice art style, the BGs were also very good tbh, after playing this first part, Im really curious for the second part. Its short, free and interesting, a nice way to break the pace of more demanding games.. free -tooo short -meh story. This is a lovely 45 minute-1 hour long visual novel with a few choices. Plus, it is completely free.. I love the character designs, background images, soundtrack, range of character portraits, and the cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next episode! Hopefully there'll be more decisions/a longer episode.. It's short and free, but other than that. I didn't feel anything for the characters, except disliking them. The story has not yet really begun so there's not much to tell either. The bickering narrators are annoying rather than funny, and breaking the 4th wall is distracting when the rest of the story is supposedly serious. I'm not a fan of the art style for the characters, they always look either angry of monster-like, but the backgrounds look good. The music is on short and on repeat, it's boring. No volume control , by the way. Try it if you have less than an hour to lose, but it'd be better spent on another game.
