I'm writing this review after I died a stupid death because of one of the bosses. lol I'm not a big fan of tower defense. I bought this game because it looks interesting and it's not costly. It's more fun than I expected which is good. The concept is interesting. The story is fine. The characters are well designed. The ladies are lovely. The game started out super easy until I thought there was nothing to play, just repetitive battles on and on. I was wrong. There were bosses in the game and they were tough (Oh, they had weak point, of course, I just learn that the hard way lol) Then, after that, even normal battles were more and more diffucult until I needed to back away and grind to get resources and upgrades, and they were not cheap. I know I'm a slow player. With my 13 hrs, there are still more to explore and unlock. I need to kill the boss that just killed me. Two challenges that I can't win yet and I know there are more challenges to come too. This game becomes my latest addiction which I don't mind it at all. On the final note and what I like most is that the dev are very active in the forum. Good job, guys.. Better than Far Cry 5. Great, very challenging tower defense game with micro management elements during battle. Also has base upgrading. The gold income and invasion rate is pretty damned slow, but the etherium rate is just fine. Also the last third of the story feels like it was rushed and could've been done way better ( From when you battle the Dark General and onward. It would have been nice if the dark general, dark lady, and leader's voice guy were all interrogated. ). If you enjoy this game also check out Redcon. Both games are very good, but I enjoyed Redcon a bit more.. Steampunk tower 2: Is it a worthy sequel? Steampunk tower was one of my favourite games on the phone, manging to pack lots of content with simple but neat graphics was rather intresting, but how does the second one shape out? First Game Content: 8/10 This game Content: 9/10 In my opinion the new missions and characters have really boosted an already high amount of content, and though the score isn't much of an increase, it was already very good to start off with First game vehicles: 9/10 This game vehicles 10/10 Though there hasn't been a huge amount of vehicles added to this game, the ones that are have increased an already very large variety of armies, and keeps the game fresh for expeirenced players First game upgrades 7/10 This game upgrades 7/10 Though I like the idea of upgrades which last throughout the game, it just doesn't seem right to almost grind to get more powerful turrrets. Overall I would give this game an 8 or 9 out of 10, it is probably better then Fortnite will ever be.. The game is fun and relaxing. The art style is very pleasant on the eye.. Plays like a mobile game. Not so much a 'strategy game' as a, 'put time in to get damage multipliers that let you progress'. Forced tutorials that only let you click 1 thing, and dont let you explore make it really bad feeling. A very 'active' experience of needing to move guns to reload, and activate ultimates, means you have to also pay attention. It also only has 1 fast speed, which seems to only be 2x.. very nice game!while i like steampunk tower 1 a bit more,this is definately good! but there is a little problem:the lightning turrets don't have any chains,even with the upgrade.i dont think it is supposed to be like this,and i would apprechiate it,if it would be fixed.thanks! something i noticed after starting this game after some months:my save is gone. assuming from the situation,i'll guess that it was gone at some point but i just stopped playing instead of writing a review.. good game. we wait dlc's.. Not enough liberty to play, game is a constant tutorial, messy upgrade system, is like bitefight but annoying. You have a level restriction for everything and you have to play same scenarios until your level rises if you dont want to go with story.
