After the assasination of the Indian Defence Minister, the authorities decide to launch a manhunt for the killer, and assign this case to Inspector Manu Verma. Manu's investigation results in the arrest of a man named Raghavan, who is found guilty, and sentenced to be hanged until death. Quoting wilding from the Holy Bhagvad Geeta, Raghavan is hanged, and Manu returns to his job, his wife and his young daughter. And then Justice Balwant Chaudhry is killed in the same manner Raghavan had killed when he was alive. Before the police could recover, there is another death. This time Inspector Arjun is certain that the killings are done by a person who is copying Raghavan. And the evidence of these killings leads Arjun to none other than Inspector Manu Verma.
Raghavan Ghatge, a psychotic terrorist, and Manu Verma, the cop who tracks him down, shoot each other simultaneously, the result being that Raghavan's soul is transferred into Verma's body...
This movie is very dark, personally I do not like dark movies. The actors especially Amitabh has done superb, his all round talent was exhibited in this movie, that no other actor could have done justice like he did. He played a split personality for the entire second half of the movie. Manoj Bajpai acted second best, he really plays like a villain with an eerie laugh. Manoj Bajpai is lot more talented than all the Khans of Bollywood, unfortunately we do not seem to respect real actors like him but time pass entertainers like SRK, Saif, Aamir and Salman. This movie is full of Amitabh, when the supreme actor of world cinema acts, only you can do is keep watching him & admire.

The ending of Aks was a big let down, with all the confusion above the hill where the climax was shot. The "Atman" of Manoj Bajpai jumps to his younger brother and then in the final scene to the junior police officer is hard to believe. It was shown as if the evil can occupy anybody, anytime. this movie was pretty good delivers a somewhat different feel. watch this movie it's good and has a good climax the actors director and the music were brilliant a definite listen for your ears basically i liked one song the way it was sung was really great nice thrilling feel to it and especially that weird laugh that the scriptwriters engineered good movie. watch it also i can say that the way the characters were built are good this movie was made by a director who has also made a small clip with the main character who plays Amitabh Bhachchan and this was different but somehow it's good form the other bollywood crap that you see nowadays enjoy this movie worth the watch.
