Only playable with keyboard or controller.. Really fun indie shoot em up. Nice art style, and the characters have a cel shaded effect. Well thought out combat system, and the upgrade system and choice of 4 chars adds depth. Bosses are interesting and have multiple phases also. Highly recommended.. Another epic shooting game. I would definitely recommend the game to all gamers who are interested in shooting games! Pros: Well balanced stage design and character skills. Nice art and design, especially for boss. Interesting design of the diffuculty structure (different difficulty has some different stages and features) Leaderboard reminds me of arcades. The difficulty design fits games' learning curve. Danmoku is not as crazy as some well-known games but definitely well designed and chanllenging! The artwork and design is excellent. There is a crisp, sharp and fluid presentation but gameplay is far too fast and unforgiving. There is zero explanation on how things work. Yes, there is a tutorial but the tips flash on the screen for about 2 seconds making it impossible to read and thus giving the new and inexperienced player no idea as to how the mechanics actually work. Slow it all down, make it more informative and clear as to how it all works and the game would be one of the best 2D shoot 'em ups on steam - perhaps even enough to rival Bullet Heaven 2 or the Sky Force games.
