Way too short of a game, was expecting Skyrim quality. Instead a a few glitches(waking on air, jumping over boundaries, getting stuck and restarting), only one armor change, the same minions, doing one minor quest for the endgame.
Not that groovy.. Dont buy this or the Base game, the only good part about this game is the combat mechanics. its not worth beating, spend both your money and time on anything else.. Arcania: Fall of Setariff, starts you off at a high level with good equipment, and soon turns into more instant action than the original game.

I enjoyed it, being more combat and all, and I loved the archer!...almost went a little "Wolfenstein Light" there for a while.

It is true it is short but I don't give bad ratings because of game length. it was fun to play, so get it on discount and you won't have a problem with play time.

The game runs very much like the original and as such is recommended.

Anaqim. feels like the devs cut the ending from arcania and added some padding there and then added lots of grotty paddig to this to grab another few bucks ! if you have already played arcania then you do think you need this to find the end ????? hahahah well good luck ! but most people seem to think that the gothic series was assainated at by arcania ! if it wasnt ??? then this has killed it good ! .... i feel i need to recomend this game but that is only because i do believe that if you have played arcania you deserve an ending. Sadly, this is an example of Downloadable Content that lost a lot of opportunities to correct the flaws of ArcaniA.

I bought the DLC in a package and finished the Story.

Instead of playing it, if you want to know the finale, just search YouTube and watch it.

Play ArcaniA only!. Gothic->Arcania->Risen->Elex <3. This is Forsaken Gods all over again. Good thing it's short.
