Literal Hell.. literally just flappy bird except there's a reason to play it that isn't just telling your the reason is there's actual levels in it and collectibles that make your epeen grow. Are you a fan of Super Meat Boy, Kaizo Mario or Super Mario Maker? Then take this game. This game only requires two buttons (Jump & Shoot), but it is really addictive.. I bought this for the soundtrack.. really difficult speed runs with fairly placed checkpoints , if youre a perfectionist that likes to try again and again until you 100 percented everything then this is for you .. nice concept, I suppose. But the " jumping " is you holding fire button down to push yourself off the ground. That alone would've been fine, b ut then they make you shoot horizontally, which means you're no longer pushing yourself up anymore. And then they add really stupid obstacles, so you're trying to pickup green orbs, and all the whoile the screen rushes by at 3000000 KMPH, and it all falls apart very quickly. Nowhere does this ever feel liek you can actually gain skill to do it, you just get lucky.. Ive been wanting this game before it could be bought. Now that Ive played it, Ill have to be honest. its EXACTLY what I hoped for! I love the gameplay: simple, yet fun. Its extremely tough, and you better bet that youll begin to rage at how mental RunGunJumpGun can get. Even with how crazy the idea and game itself are, its amazingly fun to play, and the silly story that goes on as you play just adds to it.. So have you ever asked yourself what would happen if Super Meat Boy and the guy from Contra (Bill not Lance) were genetically spliced and jettisoned off into space to take part in the most brutal kickass space shooter/platformer to date? Well first I have to say that was an oddly specific question you had there, but then I would tell you question no more my friend because RunGunJumpGun is that oddly tailored to your specificly questioned game that you have been looking for. With tight responsive controlls and a bats**t insane plot, you will find yourself screaming in frustration, and agony when you fail, but also jumping for joy when you finally succeed. Take the dive my friends and pick up this little gem of a game.. An OK game that is somewhat annoying game mechanics wise. I wouldn't say its worth the 8 bucks but on sale perhaps.
