Based on the popular 70's TV show, three cute chicks work for the mysterious "Charlie". They are the female 'James Bonds'' of our time. They get to blow stuff up, kick the crap out of people, and wear really tight clothing, all whilst trying to retrieve stolen software and balance in high heels.
I wasn't very impressed with the way the girls were being portrayed - I thought they were not very smart.. all looks and brawn but with no brains and no street-smarts.

I would have thought that the 21st century version of Charlie's Angels would have shown a more sophisticated and intelligent trio as well as sexy and beautiful..

Anyhow.. Drew didn't fight much and I felt that Lucy Liu was underplayed. Cameron Diaz stole the entire show. There was no real strategy or plot so I felt that the show wasn't worth the hype.

All said and done.. great kung fu scenes.. very "Hong Kong" like.. nice dancing.. entertaining at best. Natalie (Cameron Diaz), Dylan (Drew Barrymore) and Alex (Lucy Liu). These three ladies work for the mysterious Charlie. Very different personalities and abilities, but yet they can always work it out together.

They were being given a mission from their boss about a case of a stolen voice-ID software. The three ladies knew how to use their sex appeal and talent to work things out and get away with the thugs along the way.

I remembered my father at times mentioned about the original TV series's version because he did watched it when it was on air here. He always said that Farah Fawcett (from the original) is like among the most beautiful actresses ever. I had seen pictures of her before and he was kind of right. Guess each generation has its own different opinions.

Anyhow, this movie is just so kicking butt. Oh yeah. The gals are fab. And so's the movie.
