Concept is cool, controls\/graphics\/camera\/level design and pretty much everything else is bloody terrible. Asked for a refund, even on a 60% sale. The game is just a pain to play.. The game is absolutely adorable, and the graphics and scenery are beautiful. The soundtrack is cute but kind of repetitive, but overall its kind of a relaxing game.
The main problems I have with it are that, one, there really isn't much to it. You run around, collect gems and defeat creatures. Once the creatures are defeated, they don't respawn, and neither to the gems, so once you've done all of that, you pretty much beat the game. Overall I think there's only about 40 creatures total, maybe less. I've maxed out at level 22 because there's nothing else to get experience from.
I'd love the game if there were more to it but it almost seems as if the developer has abandoned the game and no longer intends to update it or add anything new. I might get the DLC, just because I do genuinely enjoy the gameplay, and might let my niece play it some since she likes to play games on my steam. But other than that, I wouldn't really recommend this game. In simpler terms for the pros\/cons of this game:

Pros:
-Beautiful graphics and textures
-Cute gameplay and smooth animations for the dragon
-Decent skins to choose from, including a spyro skin
-Pretty easy to level up and get skill points, free skillpoint resets
-Cute idle animations

Cons:
-Combat is horribly bugged, AI glitch out if you happen to be standing on a rock to fight them and they're very twitchy
-Repetitive soundtrack\/sound effects
-When running, your dragon randomly gets shoved to the side as if it ran into something
-Extremely short gameplay (I beat it in just about 2 hours)
-Pretty overpriced for what you pay for, the game would be worth maybe $10 max (Though I got it on sale)

If you're looking for something pretty simple to get some achievements from, then this might be a decent game. But if you're looking for hours of gameplay and entertainment this game definitely isn't for that. It is quite relaxing, and helped me take my mind off things however, so at least there's that as well.
Again, overall, it's not a horrible game, and has a TON of potential, it's just whether or not the developer will continue to work on it in the future..
