About This Game

Have you ever been cloned? Ever wonder what it would be like to be half chicken? Half monkey? Half frog? Well, wonder no more when you play Cloning Clyde.

As Clyde, or one of his clones, work your way through the levels of the nefarious Dupliclone, Inc. building. It houses bizarre simulated environments created specifically to accommodate their unconventional cloning experiments. Have fun utilizing the many clones running amok inside Dupliclone, as you try to free yourself…or should we say yourselves. Be careful of the traps set by the sinister corporation, and watch out for mutant clones! okay... here it goes
so this is the best game i've ever even been given the CHANCE to comprehend.
I've played this hidden gem to completion about twice now. I can't put into words how much I love this game.
The music, characters, dialog, writing, lovely environment, the character development, are just so wonderful!
I think about this lovely piece of work every moment of my life!

Please, if you're just seeing this review or seeing if this game is worth your time and money. Then heed this warning...

Prepare for the best ride in your life.<\/i>. Cloning Clyde is an enjoyable puzzle action platformer with native controller support. The puzzles themselves vary in difficulty and all revolve around your ability to clone yourself and use your clones to manipulate certain puzzles on the gamefield. My only minor gripe about the game is the fairly low resolution graphics which on a widescreen monitor when stretched to fullscreen result in a lot of jagged edges on the screen. The music is sparse and limited to flourishes and the intro screen, but I would still recommend this game to puzzle lovers who want a little bit of arcade action. Platform arcade enthusiasts though may find the actual twitch aspect of the game lacking, and the enemies are really only their to delay the completing of the puzzles rather than representing a serious threat. But it was so much more. I found out it got a 9\/10 on steam, and is a very legitamite game for steam and also xbox arcade. I reall really recommend it. It's in my top 10 favorite video games. And its a steal for the amount of entertainment and acheivments you can get. BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!. Should be called Combine Clyde because merging with animals for all the different abilities is a lot more fun than cloning yourself just to make them sit on buttons. I enjoyed going for 100% with the collectables and times though getting all of the Clydes out just felt like a chore. Worth a quick play for the price, it's something I refer to as a pound shop game.. can be too easy sometimes but a great platformer for all ages none the less

8\/10. Gameplay: The storyline is non-existent, which isn't the worst thing in the world. Unfortunately, however, there are no redeeming qualities to make up for this. There are a decent amount of game mechanics and levels to keep the total playtime up to 6 hours. The levels however are in no way challenging.

Visuals: It's pretty disappointing. It looks very unfinished.

Audio: It's not the worst audiowise. I can say that the sound effects match the disproportionate cartoon-like theme that they were aiming for. The soundtrack would get repetitive as the amount of songs they had didn't match the playtime it took to beat the game.

Replayability*: There is none. I have no desire to go back and play the game. All the levels are the exact same and often times the "perfection" mechanics (collecting all of the X) can usually be done on the first run through.

*This varies A LOT from person to person, so only rely on this category from me if you've agreed with my other reviews' replayability sections.. Funny little puzzle plattformer that despite it's minor flaws (some sound issues and the fact that there is no real BGM, except for a few secs each time you start a level) is recommendable if you want to kill some time or just play a simple game. I didn't regret picking this up durning DailyDeal and now after finishing it, I can say that it is even worth it's full price :)
Controls are responsive and get the job well done. The art style is cartoony and there is even some crude humor hidden in between.
