With the defeat of the Egyptian fleet at Actium, Mark Antony and Cleopatra retreat to their palace and await their fate. Believing that Cleopatra has taken her life, Mark Antony decides follow her into the afterlife. She has other plans however and is quite prepared to negotiate with Octavian if there is any possibility her life and those of her children will be spared. Cleopatra asks Vorenus to take her son Caesarian to safety and Octavian sends Pullo after them. The old friends are soon together again but are waylaid by bandits. With Vorenus severely wounded, Pullo takes him back to Rome for what he hopes will be a happy reunion with his children.
I doubt anyone will read this, as it's the end of the series, but just for fun I'm going to do a High School Yearbook style farewell to ROME. Vote HELPFUL if you will miss these things about HBO's greatest show.

Things I will miss about ROME . . .

Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus . . . best friends forever!!!!

Pullo's instant altar to Mars on the field of battle.

Vorenus wondering exactly how Titus Pullo knows so much about his wife's genital region.

Atia of the Julii . . . channeling Scarlett in GONE WITH THE WIND . . . channeling Erica Kane on ALL MY CHILDREN . . . channeling Rhoda Henry on THE WINDS OF WAR . . . channeling every myth ever made about dangerous, powerful, hungry, irresistible women of a certain age!

Julius Caesar pimp-slapping Servilia . . . just to let her know that it's over.

Servilia breaking out the Ouija boards and the voodoo dolls, vowing to get even . . . but in a fun way.

Octavia of the Julii . . . the Wet Blanket, the Pouting Princess, cute as a button even when she's stoned out of her mind!

Watching Timon the Jew kill his brother accidentally on purpose . . . "so now I'm a schmedrick? Or am I really a schlemiel?"

Watching the newsreader at the Forum wrap up every story with that cool, funky, ZZ Top style hand wave.

The bearded king from the eastern provinces asking Brutus the tough questions about his "hero of Rome" status. (He was already dead? Helpless? And you stabbed him again? In Rome this makes you a hero?)

Young Octavian in the sewers . . . watch how he quickly morphs from Anthony Michael Hall in THE BREAKFAST CLUB to Michael Madsen in RESERVOIR DOGS. Not your average geek!

Watching Mark Antony put on his NFL style running back moves to get past the low-rent hoodlums clustering outside the Senate. Go OJ!!!

Lucius Vorenus . . . father of the year.

Watching Vorenus' daughter give him the evil eye at the dinner table.

Watching Vorenus explain to the collegia what he does to Concord.

Octavia's best friend Jocasta. Being a "bad influence" was never this much fun!

Titus Pullo offering the gods a cockroach.

"Thirteen! Thirteen! Thirteen!"

Agrippa watching Octavia play the harp with stars in his eyes, knowing she's out of reach. The Great Gatsby lives!

Mark Antony ordering Vorenus to get his act together.

Erastes Fulmen analyzing Vorenus' anger in a thoughtful way.

Servilia taking time out from being a crazed and vindictive old bag to seduce gentle, vulnerable young Octavia.

Cleopatra's son Caesarion vowing to get even with Octavian . . . and the way the series ends with important news about his father.

Gentle, timid Octavia not quite hiding a smile as her mother Atia puts Livia back in her place. As the series approaches its conclusion Mark Antony and Cleopatra have suffered a major defeat in Greece a return to Alexandria. It isn't long before Octavian's forces have the Royal Palace surrounded and demands that Antony and Cleopatra surrender to him or he will destroy the palace with them inside. Antony challenges Octavian to single combat but is rebuffed. They know that surrender isn't really an option so discuss whether to flee or commit suicide and decide on the latter course. Before the deed is done Mark Antony tells Lucius Vorenus to save young Caesarion. Meanwhile Octavian orders Pullo to find Caesarion so he can be put to death… he may only be a child but there can only be one son of Caesar. The two old friends are reunited in the desert and after Vorenus is wounded they make their way back to Rome with Caesarion. By now Octavian is also back and it is time for his triumph.

It could be argued that this episode, like much of the season, was a little rushed and we don't see the major battles; I didn't mind this though as it let us concentrate on more intimate details; most notably as Antony and Cleopatra discuss what they should do… while their ultimate fate isn't a huge surprise there are some twists in what happens to them. James Purefoy and Lyndsey Marshal were great during these scenes. It was great to see Ray Stevenson and Kevin McKidd share scenes together after Pullo and Vorenus are reunited; as these characters have somehow managed to be involved in just about every major event of the series it was fitting that they were together at the end. Other highlight's included Polly Walker's Atia putting Octavian's wife in her place before the triumph and the very last scene where we can just guess what Pullo has told Caesarion. Overall it is a shame that the series ended so soon but as it had to end I'm glad it had such a good conclusion.
That is a subject of much debate amongst fans of the series. He has sustained a very serious injury, we see him saying goodbye to his children, and we hear Titus Pullo confirm that he is dead. That would suggest he really is dead.

However, we never saw him actually die on screen, like we did with Mark Anthony. Many people claim that alluding to his death while not actually showing it means he is still alive; most other deaths in the series were shown quite explicitly and in great detail. The alleged reason for keeping Vorenus' death ambiguous is to keep the door open for him to return in a possible Rome movie. Series writer Bruno Heller has actually confirmed that this is the reason for not explicitly showing Vorenus to be dead. Ideas for a movie are plentiful, but it is at this time unknown if it will ever be made, since many of Rome's expensive sets have been destroyed.

If Vorenus is alive, it would mean he made a miraculously recovery. The question remains why Pullo would lie to Octavian about it. Perhaps he did this to protect Vorenus from possible retributions; Vorenus did fight against Octavian and kept loyal to Mark Anthony, an enemy of Rome, until the end. Even though Octavian understood and respected this loyalty, perhaps his subordinates would not, and might want to take revenge on Vorenus. Declaring him dead would ensure the safety of himself and his family.

So time will tell; he is probably dead until the writers decide otherwise. Realm\u0027s 2 the 5th Dimension full movie kickass torrent
