If you like Breakout and Arkanoid mixed with a funny story, secrets to find and branching paths to go with it then this is the game for you.. If you like Breakout with RPG/Adventure-like twist to it, I would recommend it 100%. I got it during a sale.. Forewarning: I like games mostly based on (pixelated) aesthetics, and find high replay value in extremely simplistic places.

I can't believe how much fun I'm having on 50 cents. I was a little apprehensive about the non-sale price tag, but I'm now willing to say I would have paid full price for this gem, and I feel like it's a steal on sale. If you favor the arcade style and / or graphics that look like they just popped out of a Sega Genesis, this is a must-own.

Even though this game is much more 'breakout' in nature, I almost want to call this an action/pinball game. It's just too awesome.. Awesome bat and ball game with some quirky humour.
There is enough variety in the levels to make it interesting and lots of power ups.. Good game. But there have been quite a difficult moments.. Probably one of the best Breakout/Arkanoid clones I've played in years. Highly recommended if you enjoy this genre.

Lots of levels with a cool theme for each, an entertaining and funny story mode, good music, secrets, nice achievements and a dev who really listens to player feedback and keeps adding more content and refining the game.

The only thing that still confuses me a bit is the level selection menu/map but other than that no big deal.. Initial Impressions:
Wasn't expecting much, but as a 'bat & ball' game this is actually quite good and fun.

Some things I noticed;
1) Can select either DirectX9 or OpenGL for graphics API. I found OpenGL doubled my framerates. ;)
2) Some game animation doesn't work well with 'forced V-Sync', for example enemy projectiles. At the moment I am running the game at 80 FPS on a 60 Hz display so I will try increasing my screen resolution to hopefully balance that out.
3) Game can get tough when you have heaps of things to contend with, but there are difficulty settings which is nice.
4) As with all comedy, certain content will be 'hit or miss'.

If you are a fan of 'bat & ball' games then I recommend giving it a go.. Cons:
Plot essentially non-existent.
Diolog is terrible.
Gameplay is all right but nothing to write home about.
Even for Pixel Art, it's not very good.

Pros:
There's a power up called "Farts" that lets your "ball" fart on command.

Conclusion:
10/10, would fart again.
