In Dev Guy, you play the roll of Warren (an independent developer) just trying to get his game on the app store before his game license expires. I honestly thought that this would be the worst game on steam. i only downloaded it to make fun of it. it turned out to be a provocative game that goes through the struggles of every indie developers life. It has both laughs and tears and will make you want to die at some points. It is all worth it in the end because you get to help one developer live out his life long dream of publishing an indie game. Also you get a prize at the end.. Dev Guy is a simple indie game focused on an indie game developer trying to make a simple indie game. The protagnogist of question is Warren who's files for his developed game were currupted after crashing so he must use his backup files saved on his flash drive. After a series of mishaps, Warren gets straight to work only to find there is nothing located on his flash drive and to make his day worse, his deadline in finishing his game for the publisher is tomorrow. So it's either develop the game from scratch or steal files from his neighboring indie game developers who reside at his apartment. Warren chooses the latter as he's at a point where trying to rush development of his previously erased game is far too much trouble than the option of stealing what his competitors were working on. There are five indie developers who each have developed their own indie games of different genres. There is no order in which games to play first, your only objective is to play each game that functions like a mini game in order to save Warren's own hide without showing remorse of plagarising others' hard earn work.

Dev-Guy is a funny social commentary on the hardships of being an indie game developer. This game is something game developers might be able to related to. The graphics of the characters and locations are basic, which are excatly how you'd expect to see in any indie video game. Warren along with his firend Cabe were based on the developers as according to the end credits. It made me wonder if this game was based on real life experiences of those developers. Whichever case they pulled off making a quick yet funny adventure game that is worth playing for those who want something quick to play. Plus with the game being free you have nothing to lose.. It's short and to the point; I appreciate the humor that pokes at game development for an indie developer. As it is a free game, I'm not going to complain too much about the graphics.. a tribute to all the "great" games in greenlight
also makes fun of bronies 10/10 :). Enjoyable short game with several mini-games.. I can only possibly recommend this game for the achievements if you like getting 100% on things. Other than that, zero replayability. I laughed maybe once or twice through, but as you can see, didn't even take a full hour to get everything. At least it is free, so it's hard to "not recommend" this game.. Press the up arrow key a bunch of time at title menu to add to the gameplay experience. Play it only for the Steam Achievements. Ok game, since it is Free. Very short adventure with 5ish minigames. Play then you can delete. oh, it has swear words in it so don't let your kids play it.. what the what game did i play????????
