About This Game

The solar system is ravaged. The Earth is gone, shattered to pieces. Nothing remains but a huge ring of rocky debris. Nobody knows why the Gate malfunctioned. It was built to connect our world to other stars, but only a handful of colony ships were sent away before disaster struck. The Gate is believed to have unexpectedly connected to the wrong star -one just going nova. Torrents of gravitational waves flooded our solar system and the Earth was immediately obliterated. The Gate then started connecting to random stars, spewing ashes from dying worlds, radiation from younger suns or even drawing in alien lifeforms. The solar system began to change.

Humans and their machines live on: pockets of civilization have gathered into warring factions. Many adventurers roam the cold wastes in their spaceships, defying death and perils unknown -there are countless tales of monstrous machines and alien creatures preying on hapless ships. Real menaces or mere fantasies ? Who can now part the myth from the ever-changing reality ?

In a world where humans, monsters and machine-gods fight for survival, something will eventually have to give. You play the role of a young adventurer, who just got his hands on his first spaceship, and is determined to make a name for himself. A routine scouting mission turns out to be something much greater when you encounter an A.I. called Ceres.

I canno't say how the game is, but:

- You will need 60 Minutes to go trought all tutorials
- don't have a 4k resolution on screen, all menus are very small then and you need very good eyes and pills against headache for the tutorial.

I didn't like that kind of tutorials. Sorry. Update UI for 4k Screens.
my which for fast paced action has gone ..... I keep trying to play this game but many difficulties of the clunky UI variety make it hard to keep up my interest. But I have this on a list of games will keep trying with hopes of making a break through. There is clearly more to the game than I have managed to experience.. Wish I could recommend this game.
Best way I can describe Cres is the remnants of an epic space adventure, burried under a mountain of poor voice acting, bugs, more bugs, clunky UI, and a littany of issues that get in the way of being able to become immerced and enjoying the game. Its a shame.. Not an easy game .... The story is not bad.

U need to use your mind sometimes to take over on enemys.

The ship control is hard for the first time but after an hour gameplay u will get used to it.

An another important thing that the dev still working on this game... I like it :)

If u can catch it on sale... Grab it straight !!!


I miss some stuff : enemy just shows up.... Not appearing from a wormhole or hyper space...

The saving - loading time is a bit long... (No I am not running this game on a toaster ) (and an another thing... if u load up your saved game.... Something always changes in the space universe... )

It would be nice to sit in the drones and control them from the cokpit. :)

More ship upgrades please!! More "playgrounds " :)

Thank you for updating this game continously!!. This game has incredible potential but unfortunately the UI completely drags it down. Oftentimes I felt like I was fighting against the UI, instead of playing the game. For the past two hours, I played the tutorial and the first mission, however, I can't even get past the first mission due to UI problems and lack of instructions.

I've tried to get a refund for this game but the time played was slightly higher than the refund requirement at the time of this writing. Since there's no way to get my money back, I'll give it another shot and see if I can tolerate its eccentricities. Hopefully my review will become a recommend review given more time.. enjoyable space game. Well... First time to buy a game on steam... or maybe to buy this game I came to steam if I have to put it that way.

It's quite a fine products although after some patchs there're still naughty bugs around annoying me but I overcame , simply cause this game was that much of fun.

Some different ships and modules to play with - various fittings and play styles.
Quite ok main storyline mission - the only downside would be the length of it... finished in around 20 hours.
Challanging game difficulty - It's not mission impossible.. but quite challanging to be honest.. I lost count how many
times I became floating corps in space... and the sol system doomed so to speak.

Finally. There're still alot of work to do. Putting these annoying bugs aside, I see works need to be done on -

Modules refining - man. the cannons and launchers are just cargo killer. eats up so many ammunations in a short while.
Utility external slot items - don't let the utility drones do all the hard work.
More characteristic ship roles - it's now little bit messy.. and personally I wanna see some Battleship available for players.
