Farscape The Peacekeeper Wars. Highly anticipated by die-hard fans such as myself. After the very disappointing ending to the series we DEMANDED more. Were we satisfied? This viewer was! It was a sight to behold for we loyal fans. However, it was very clear that this movie was supposed to be season 5 compacted into two hours. The hynerian crisis, Rygel carrying the baby, the return of Jothee, the pregnancy of Graza (when the heck did that happen), among other things were most likely going to be very strong themes in 5th season. I regret we did not get to see them in that expanded capacity. I don't think the mini-series will attract any new fans either. Its kinda hard to do that when they have no idea whats going on. But from what I hear nearly 7 million viewers tuned in. I believe the series left room for expansion on the show and I pray the show is not abandoned. The characters mentioned traveling to Hyneria and I don't truly believe that Dargo (not the new baby) could've survived. Also there was a strange scene between Sikozu and the doctor on the water planet. What will happen between the two of them? All questions that need to be answered. WE WANT SEASON 5!
The Farscape series is by far the best science fiction ever done. The acting is perfection, the writing is original, creative, and believable. The special effects aren't gratuitous, but enhance the story without overpowering it. I would like to single out an actor but they all have perfected their characters; however the most unique character is the character of Scorpius. He was evil without being insane and strangely enough, he kept his word; even though his motives obsessively controlled his agenda. There are no stereotypical portrayals which is evidence of the high level of talent involved in this production. I hope that the SciFi channel will come to their senses and reinstate the series.
