Comments:
One of the most beautiful games I've ever played. And possibly the worst Final Fantasy story I've ever seen. I know not every Final Fantasy can be FFX, but come on, this is awful.
On a positive note, the pictures taken in game by Prompto have inspired me to take more screenshots in the future.. Runs like utter garbage.

fullscreen optimization disabled (no change in performance when enabled)

- it can achieve 60 fps but constantly drops for half a second when moving or turning the camera, unless on the lowest settings, which I found myself unable to fix even with the Special K mod

- anti-aliasing is borked and can only be fixed with mods, otherwise you're left with either pixel-galore (off) or vaseline-vision (TAA or even worse, FXAA)

Suspected culprits remain my hdd (instead of an ssd) and the slow ram, but I would like to point out that these hitches have never occured in any other game and texture streaming has never been an issue for me. I played Kingdom Come: Deliverance before this, which, surprisingly enough, ran a thousand times more smoothly than this game, which I had no choice but to refund.. I can't say it was perfect, but it sure was fun!. This is a lovely game, with it's fair share of issues that can be easily overlooked. Cool combat with a few unclear mechanics that take some time to learn, (you should unlock playing as some of your party members as soon as you can since swapping between them makes the combat really enjoyable), Story's pretty sentimental in a good way but has some plot holes, nevertheless it will feel like there's someone cutting up some onions near you at some points of the game.

The world is just beautiful, everywhere you look you're bound to see some amazing scenery with some nice eastereggs here and there for fans of the franchise and with the Car they give you, even though the driving is pretty handheld so that you don't mess it up, just made travelling around seem like a really good road trip.

Main characters are all lovable and interesting with really good backstories dialogue and interactions. And ofcourse, The fishing is really well done, I spent more than 5 hours just fishing throughout my 1st play through since it can be both chill af or even challenging.

All in all, Yes, I do recommend this game.. Don't buy this game until Square Enix solves the Micro Freeze \/ Stutter Glitch problem. This company does not care about PC gamers. Square Enix has been negligent in producing FFXV for PC and still does not solve the problems. Why does STEAM not remove this game from its sales? Because of a weight name that has the FF? I believe so! But the game is not fun and should be! What we bought was a headache and great tension in knowing that the game will freeze or close at any time.. This game is not...a Final Fantasy. It wants be an action game, but it has a very poor combat system that only requires you to press a single button. A majestic world that is just...empty, badly designed and devoid of any meaning. The story is just... not there. Your time is worth more than this, play something else, seriously.. One of the finest multistorytelling experience.

Play if:
- you want good game
- you care about every aspect of history including different ways of telling it
- be also prepared to watch movie, anime, read short story and novel
And connect dots from every source you can find to create much bigger picture of the world

Shame SE didn't finish the game as they should. Properly taken care of it would be masterpiece.

Nonetheless, it's worth your time.
