Please read my review! I didn't see many people in the review section fully look at this game! This game is so badass. However It does not last long. It gets really dull pretty fast. It's not very fun playing it in one long sitting. It's a fun free mod to play once in a while. Your mission? You're placed into an areana with either aliens from HL2 or Combine Soldiers from HL2. You must kill everyone. You're given a couple weapons on start, and you must search the area for additional weapons (which I will get into soon). The game might sound very simple but it has some great features in it. The game has a really cool feature; Slow-mo. It is (in my opinion) one of the best inventions to put into a video game. The guns from Half-Life 2 are still around, but given some different features like sound, looks and the mechanics. There's also a couple extra weapons like the Desert Eagle, which is my favorite weapon from just how powerful it is in this game. All the weapons are unique in their own way. You can 360 no scope everyone in slow motion while jumping off a ledge. It's amazing. The gore in this game makes it all just satisfying. Also. did I mention you can kick? Yes, there is kicking in this game and it's also amazing. It really reminds me of F.E.A.R. You wouldn't really use it as much, cause it's not as effective as shooting, but it's handy. You do still have Gordon Freemans armour, you can 'find' higher quality armor around the map, but they're not hard to find, so that sorta ruins the point. Is the game hard? I hear you ask. No. not if you know what you're doing you're doing. You're constantly on the move. You get NO breaks. It's annoying, but this is the game you chose. I really hate it when games don't give you time to catch a breath. It get's boring quick if you don't get time to better appreciate the actual fights. I'm not excaclty sure on how to make a part of the game where you don't fight enemies for a while, but my closest bet is to make waves of enemies. Not constantly respawning. Kill everything and you get rewarded with time to search the map for weapons, ammunition, armor and gear. I might have to mention the enemies. Nothing new, nothing bad. There's a few new combine guys, like the Assassin from beta HL2 that has dual pistols. They jump around athletically and they are so difficult to kill. That's probably the most unique combine carracter from this game. Movement in this game is like a Quake game. You can B-hop around the map so quickly and It is fun. I must mention the maps! They are nothing great. They're just taken from HL2:DM and HL2 but just modified a little. They are small for this game. And the original maps for this game also seem to look like a small map from GameBanana.com . They are also too small and cluttered! One of the biggest problems in this game is that there are places where enemies can't get you! Vents, high places, props etc. So that would mean you would have to force yourself to fight the enemy, because of how boring it would be to not have enemies to fight. I do recommend this game, however It gets pretty old really quick. There is no campaign, obviously, and there probably wont ever be. There are archievements in this for steam so if you're an archievement person, dig in. It's free and totally worth it.. Great idea to kill some time, followed this project from greenlight. So happy that updates still going and added coop.. UMMMMMM. I played it and it's not a good or bad mod. Nobody plays it. ummmm. I got nothing man. Why is this on stream? All the mods that could have come on stream, fu ck them all this mod dood. I guess it's interesting to look at for 3 minutes but that's it. I don't hate this mod, there's new weapons and enemies so it gets an extra point. However, there's nothing much for me to talk about. Well at least it's better than HDTF and Wilson Chronicles. Also it doesn't charge money.. This game is just All it does is ing crash, enemies don't spawn sometimes, lags like hell 2 minutes in (even with a damn good pc), and the max level you can reach before the game itself and makes your save unplayable, and no damn tutorial so you're just thrust into just to ing die the first few times before you can get a good pushoff, ragdolls and weapons never despawn so they stay on the server and after all that build up of those items and bodies sometimes you'll be down to 5 fps, and I don't feel like playing in bullet time the whole damn time because of it, on top of it I also came for the custom weapon sounds they promised because i like uniqueness personally, but in an update a while back in 2016 that i wasn't here for they had changed all weapon sounds back to their defaults from HL2. So overall this game is still broken as there's many more problems than what i said, But don't waste you're time, I made that mistake and it was just a big up of a disappointment. I'm not taking aon the developer but it's just so irritating and at most i can only play for a few minutes before it just goes out.. When I Got It i thought it was a half life 2 mod or dlc but it wasnt its fighting bots but on the co-op side no one knew this game i give it out a 9/10. one word.AWESOME! this is a very cool survival type mod, kind of reminds me of doom where you just kill an ever spawning amount of enemies and there is also some half life beta weapons in here too, which i thought was cool! this is pretty awesome for a free game, if you like survival games, im positive you will like this! :D. i played a little bit its good much weps (sry for my english im spanish). Great mod, sadly only singleplayer though.
