About This Content

Embraer’s 145LR is a 50 passenger variant of the Brazilian Embraer Regional Jet (ERJ) line-up. Launched at the Paris Air Show in 1989, the 145LR was intended to offer greater speed and comfort than the turboprop aircraft typically in use at the time.

The LR suffix indicates a long-range variant with increased fuel capacity. The turbofan engines are controlled by Full Authority Digital Engine Controls (FADECs) which monitor numerous engine functions, all of which have been authentically replicated in the FSX: Steam Edition incarnation of this beautiful aircraft.

The 145LR for FSX: Steam Edition, from FeelThere, includes a separate configuration tool used to customize the way you fly your aircraft. You can access this tool via the Tools menu on the Steam client.

This is a nice add-on. I bought the twin pack (145XR and 135LR) as well, and this DLC is basically the same, the same exact manual even. I recommend not buying both! As to the manual, that the biggest reason to buy a FeelThere product- their manuals are great. This one had some errors in it, especially with the intro flights. I really struggled until I found a great video on YT for it- search for "embraer 135 official walkthrough" and you'll get it. The vid helped me a lot!

- good systems, very complete
- the planes is a bit less automated so a challenge to fly

Negatives:
- intro flights are a bit of a mess in the manual
- ground handling is really bad! don't touch the rudder
