The movement is awful, you get stuck on simple stair railings, the controls are weird, you cant even drop items yet.
The trailer made it look awesome but at its current state, almost unplayable in my opinion

Wait a while for updates and improvements before buying
I will definitely buy it again in like a month to see if anything has changed, but for now, its a definitive No. The idea and the execution is great, however, there are 2 players on an EU server on a sunday. Also, there are only a few EU servers, whereas the US has a massive park of different servers to choose from. Sad to refund it, it is simply not worth the price at the moment.. I'm European, I launch this game on a friday evening, there's 2 servers up: one is Brazilians only, the other is locked with 5 people playing.

I wait a while and there's another server, I join it. The guys know the game from head to toe, they toy with me and each other, matches don't even take 3 minutes because either party is dead at that point. They tell me that people mostly play this game at 3AM my time. When I'm asked if I'm enjoying it, I realize I can still return this game and I alt+f4.

I'm looking forward to Insider 2. This game is made by one person, and it shows. It plays, feels and looks like a mod. It has original and interesting things like hand signals and gadgets, it makes good use of poor assets, and I think its a really cool concept overall.

There's just no one to play with if you're European and the originality or gameplay doesn't compensate for that.. The mechanics are really good and the gunplay is nice, but I couldn't find any servers with a single player on it. A look at steamcharts revealed there was only 3 players an hour ago, with a 24 hour peak of 30. For a multiplayer-only game with no bot support, this is a waste of money. I see a lot of potential here, but without a steady playerbase to back it up, that potential will never be realized.

At this point it will be hard (or even impossible) to bring the playerbase to a healthy level, which is a real shame. At least if there was bot support I could still play the game in some capacity.. So, personally, i can not recommend this game, but that is just my personal taste.

the game itself is if rainbow six siege and Garry's mod all had some unholy love child. That being said, its about the most realistic unrealistic tactical shooter you can find. gunplay is somewhat similar to siege, with a short ttk, and very tactical elements, like placeable motion triggers, shooting out lights to create darkness, and so on, so forth.

unfortunately, the game feels very clunky. movement in a given direction winds up, not immediately bringing you to full speed, and while i can understand the usefulness of being able to open a door part-way, it does not feel natural to me at all. Cap all this off with low player counts (not the game's fault. if it had more players, i might actually buy\/play it for real.) makes it a game that does not really appeal to me.. Really fun game. Playing with friends, sometimes a match is serious and tense, other times there so many hijinx we just laugh through an entire round. The fact ONE PERSON made this is insane. Great job.. What I really have to tell to the dev team:

Steam Users just update steam

People with Resolution issues that have graphics bounce while in full screen. Exit game go to you should try going to AppData/Local/MassExodus/Saved
and delete your config folder then reset the game it should reset your resolution to default if needed. Let us know on this one it worked on a few of us that had the issue doesnt mean its completely solved.

*************** STAND ALONE CLIENT USERS**************
Few issues as we had to rebuild the Client. You must download the new client off of Facebook or Dmexodus.com Install the New Client, Login In and hit Repair in the Launcher. It will Repair and you will be able to get in. If you have any trouble shoot us a message and use Steam for the time being. We will be adjusting the standalone client to have an option to join in the Test Server for Patch Testing in the very very near future.

Patch Notes
-Added connection to test api.
-Premium gain from selling goods on the market is not consistent no matter the amount of good sold.
-Goods on market now cannot have the same price for sell and buy.
-Added new keys to API calls.
-Protected keys from .pak and .exe extractions.
-Backups now deletes when adding a new ones. The last 4 backups are kept.
-When hiding the quest pop up in space, the animations doesn't reset to the right of the access button.
-Gen Raiders do not go on Gen Pelein and Gen Irium anymore.

-Added 1 static defender on each gen planet.
-Doubled the number of roaming defender.

-Removed the possibilty to use spaces when signing up.
-Fixed the amount of PDC gained from packs bought on steam.
-Added pop up asking the player to verify his email after signing up.
-When receiving DC from another player, the notification now correctly displays the name of the player who sent the money.
-Fixed Quest notification appearing within the quest menu.
-Fixed Quest notification not appearing after a quest is completed.
-Quest Hunter 1 now works correctly.
-Fixed tutorial quest being given 3 at a time.
-Fixed certain quests not displaying advancement for certain Objectives.
-Force resolution to the maximum screen resolution when in fullscreen mode in order to avoid the mouse offset issue.
-Fixed Empire Building guild upgrade.
-Fixed issue with button grayed out when using the jump function or the Send money function. (as well as any other grayed button based on entering a player's name).

Once again we cant say anything but great things about the community thats popping up around our game. Everyones been super great and very forgiving that we had to drop the server for a little over a day. We only had a few hours of testing so any bugs list them here, the forum www.angryrabbitstudios.com/community where ever is easy. Will be scheduling Updates in the next week or so on the test server and will need active testers.

Hey there folks we need to do a little more testing but we are wanting to release in the next day. We will be having some Public testing of the patch and from here on out people will have access to all the new updates prior to release. Testing will be credited in game currency for helping.

One thing folks, if you can set your home planet to a planet right around LM or the Gen Zoe that would be great. We have scripts to move people based on the new range changes but just in case ;)

S.R.. 2.12 Patch Timeline Target Weekend of the 18th:
Hey pilots hope everyone is having a good week and ready for a nice weekend of gaming and relaxing.

We will be targeting next weekend for a release of 2.12. This patch will be full of improvements to game speed and performance. Loading the game should be far faster when we are done, so you can start and not look at the pretty wooshy blue cloud as long.

Also Ai Changes by very popular demand we are doing our best to further adjust the Ai so they are less swarmy, they should move more often, mingle less, and will take longer before they respond to you being in the node with them. We will keep tweaking the Ai so its a good happy medium for everyone. Some of the information things and lore may or may not get pushed back a week to 2.13. Just depends on how much we get done and tested by patch time next Thursday. We will be posting closer to Thursday for public trials. The test server is all ready for visitors and there will be a specific download and instructions for that. As always keep giving us feed back and suggestions we are hard at work everyday processing and changing to better your experience in game. As always thanks for everyone whos trying, playing and reviewing!

S.R.. Growing Pains and Hot Fixes and next Patch.:
Alright so we have some stuff in game we did that would allow people to quickly auto fill names. Super helpful for tracking, emails, lots of things. However with the large amount of players that have been joining it has created a few packets that are sent that end up being to big and failing. In simple terms craps broke it needs to be fixed.

We will be patching this tomorrow early morning probably around 12 or so hours from now. The game is up there's a good number of folks in it. If you can't get in don't rage will get you back in. When we patch we are literally only patching to fix this issue and the server will be back up. We expect a 10 minute down window.

I'm the next week (will give notice when we're close) here are things for sure in the next Update Patch. After this will start adding some additional things in game and be looking for how mechanics for taxes and stock market best fit into the Galaxy dynamically.

2.13 fixes some bugs from 2.12

Sorry about the issues with 2.12, we got on it as fast as we can and heres 2.13 hopefully nothing major or minor for bugs. We have adjusted the memory system and without weeks of testing we wont know 100% and we really needed to get the connection timeouts under control.

2.14 will be out in a few days will get a more exact time as we will need community assistance to test that on the test server.

First off this weekend both on Saturday and Sunday we will be having a few fox hunt events, where some poor fella gets a prize put on his head and he runs for his dear life. :) should be lots of fun, and prizes abound.
