Danny Rand returns 15 years after he was presumed for dead. Returning to NY City, Danny learns that his childhood friends that runs his parents company has doubts that it is the real rich kid that is entiled to run the family buisness. Danny has assumed a great power with advanced marshal arts skills. Danny 's is bestowed the responsibility to defeat a secret organization called the hand.
Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist
I thought Daredevil was great, Jessica Jones was pretty entertaining, but Luke Cage was awful. This had me wondering what to expect from Iron Fist, which suffered from possibly bad casting and people with little martial arts experience.

Episode 1 had us worried more. The lead character Danny Rand seemed too "goofy" to be true. The brother and sister who lead the Rand company looked like generic characters and the background story was pretty vague.

Fortunately, this is all a build-up. This show succeeds in having its characters develop. There is a reason why Danny Rand is goofy. There is more behind the bro/sister characters. And the show slowly but surely connects to the other Marvel series and has an enemy that reveals itself as menacing, when the time is right.

It may take some patience, but after 3 or 4 episodes, the show finds the right pace and an increasing amount of well timed humour and little twists that will keep your attention for both Danny Rand, and the upcoming Defenders show. How not to do, action scenes choreograph.

Very slow and boring.

Poor choreographic direction of fights.

I'm surprised that a product that is aimed for an audience that consumes action and they don't take more care on that aspect.

Disappointed, because I had high expectations.
