Johnny Knoxville and his crazy friends appear on the big screen for the very first time in Jackass: The Movie. They wander around Japan in panda outfits, wreak havoc on a once civilized golf court, they even do stunts involving LIVE alligators, and so on. While Johnny Knoxvile and his pals put their life at risk, they are entertaining people at the same time. Get ready for Jackass: The Movie!!
Johnny Knoxville and his band of maniacs perform a variety of stunts and gross-out gags on the big screen for the first time.
Definitely not a film for kids! These guys do some just plain stupid things, and putting those images into kids' minds may get some undesirable results. Guess that's up to the parents anyways...

This movie has its funny parts. I was never a big fan of the Jackass TV show but some of the stunts in the film did make me laugh. The alligator in the house was a funny one and I got a kick out of the meter fairy. The part where they were dressed-up like old men and people are trying to help them was so hilarious I hurt myself laughing.

Jackass: The Movie also has some very, very uncomfortable scenes. I can't help but feel sorry for Steve-O at times, but I figure if he is stupid enough to do this stuff he deserves it. Also the stunts are sometimes homosexual or masochistic in nature which makes it almost hard to watch. I couldn't watch when they were giving each other paper cuts. That is just plain sick and goes over the line into a baffled "why?"... But there are enough funny parts to make the embarrassing stunts worth cringing through.

Overall I would say that this movie is worth watching if you have nothing else to do. It is funny to see them messing with the public like that, as long as you can take some really nasty parts too.

Oh yeah and they actually make their camera crew vomit a few times in this movie... After a opening of high quality footage of the guys in a giant trolley, you think for this movie that they went up a notch of their production values, while O Fotuna is bellowing in the background. But right after this opening sequence we're taken back to the low quality, rough camera work of the series, and when this happens strap yourself in for one disturbing ride of painful laughing.

While this is just a ninety minute episode of Jackass, they have gone abit further in their stunts. Though it feels that they are just trying to push the envelope further for our amusement, it still sends you into painful fits of laughter. It is quite disturbing some of the stunts they perform, while others are just sheer stupidity, yet you succumb to it all having a great time watching all this depravity.

Your either going to love this or simply hate it. But if you one the people who love it, come join me on the floor and roll around in laughter. All told, either you get it or you don't. Film critics and senators with election prospects don't. Kids in the mood to laugh at stupid shit for 87 minutes do. I'll toss my hat in the latter ring with glee.
The Unrated Version of this movie runs approx. 3 and a half minutes longer than the normal Theatrical version and features several additional gross scenes interesting for the die-hard Jackass fans.
