Very solid tower defense with lots of options and ways to play. Decent story as well, well worth the cost.. Unpolished and buggy.. Fun game, and appropriately priced. You pay about a dollar per mission since there is 20 in the campaign, and there's a skirmish mode, 3 difficulties and a map editor. Don't expect C&C or They are Billions, it's an RTS/tower defense hybrid of sorts. You get a certain number of nodes each map, each node can place 3 buildings, buildings include defense towers and other structures like a super weapons factory for creating nukes, etc. Then very quickly you fight waves of space zombies. Tips: -upgrade your extractors all the way as fast as you can -don't be afraid to sell towers and move them when you need to defend another area -constantly be making super weapons and calling in reinforcements -once you've researched all the weapon types, sell the research building and use that slot for another defense tower -the game has a pause feature and a slow motion feature, I don't think you can build when paused but you can in slow motion and I use it all the time, so I recommend you bind it to something comfortable (all keys can be rebound which is another plus since I'm left handed).. I love this game.. Really not a good game, allready at lvl 4 im stuck , not getting any further, and i dont care about getting further eighter, its just not a fun game. if you want a ok tower defence game, look elsewhere.. just wasted over $20 on this game that needs a severe overhaul on mechanics and difficulty, that being said it has potential.. This game is very nice in many ways. However, the difficulty set even with the lowest possible level, for sure is too heavy. Very high frustation coming up very quickly. This is a no go. sorry.. The game is decent. The devs are nice and that is a plus so i would say a game like this is worth supporting just to see more devs like this husband and couple duo. Plus the game is not bad. The only real issue i had with the game was the poor replay value. Skirmish mode is Eh. i guess because there seems to be a limit on how many zombie you can spawn. Which is of course an absurd limitation. The campaign was actually very fun and very challenging. The game is worth buying, especially if you catch it on sale! But yes, support the devs!! Idk about you but iu2019m tired of these greedy, tone deaf AAA companies who care little to none about us.
