About This Game

Nubs' Adventure is platforming action and exploration combined with an intriguing story and a vast world to explore!

Nubs' Adventure is an exploratory platformer in which you help Nubs rebuild his house after it was destroyed by the evil Reds. But Nubs is not alone! With him on his journey are his friends: the tiny wisp Ally and a huge worm named Brute.

Explore four different world, each with their own secrets, enemies and traps. Control Nubs, as well as the wisp Ally and the worm Brute. Fight the evil Reds in epic boss fights. Solve puzzles and collect diamonds to rebuild your house in this oustanding platforming adventure!

A beautiful little Metroidvania with excellent music, challenging but fair gameplay and a lot of heart.

One of the best Greenlight games I've ever played and actually the first time I've felt compelled to complete a game 100% for the achievements.

Make a home for this in your collection, it's a steal and an excellent use of 10 hours or so.. This game was frustrating at times, but ultimately a lot of fun.

I would not call this a Metroidvania. There are no weapon upgrades, double jump or other upgrades. It is straight exploration, find the keys and gems type of game. There is a lot of backtracking to open doors once you find the key or symbol needed.

It is slower paced, with some action but most of the enemies don't pose much of a threat.

It saves your progress at the numerous checkpoints and every time you switch areas. There are a few sequences that could have used an extra checkpoint but overall there were enough. There are also a couple of places where you go through a long sequence of moving things around, opening doors, etc. then something pops up and kills you and you have to repeat it.

There are 3 or 4 boss fights. One of them was too random and luck-based, too easy to unavoidably get hit and quite frustrating (unless there is a trick to it I didn't notice), but the others were fine and moderately challenging.

I finished in 8.3 hours. It was well worth the price, in my opinion.





. Great game as a whole. Beautiful art, as well as a simple yet compelling story. I did take issue with a particular fight (maybe about halfway through the game) that seemed to require way too much RNG for my liking, but I got passed it working with what I could and I'm glad I did. Its nice to play a game here and there that just lets you explore and take things in strides like this gem did. The puzzles and platforming all just make it one good adventure. The game isn't too long but I feel the price point is okay for this game. If you get it on sale like I did then even better and it will make it truly worth it!. Good deal, this is an kick♥♥♥♥♥indie-juwel with a brilliant pixelstyled unique atmosphere. Frankly i liked it a lot more than FEZ. The gameplay, storytelling and the music fits very well. i certainly hope there will be a second part. I recommend this game for anyone who likes platformers, pixelstyle, great music and good gameplay with great atmosphere.
