Omni Link is an great game with a good main story. You need to choose some choices but they don't have big influences in the story right now. The story is beautiful designed but it needs more quests and side stories. Right now you nearly jumping from one mission to the next. To the story: You are Keb somehow the destiny drives you to meet "Dawn" a kind of Cyborg/AI that will change your whole life you meet dangerous troubles, pepoal and new allies. What will the future hold up for you ? Will you change the fate of the galaxy ? The Spaceships are interesting designed some even have cool special features, but the controls isn't that smooth as it should be. Sometimes im asking myself why does AI doing a better job in spacefights than the player. The world looks a bit empty there should be more random events and more different spaceships. If you playing on the now highest degree of difficulty, it's still a bit too easy but with some adjustments it could be heavier. Sound designing is good but sometimes it could happen that there is no music nor sound and only after a few minutes it switches on again. I recommend it for the kind of player that wants to have a great main story. If you still unsure follow this product or buy it in a sale. [7.8/10] Points Something i would like to have as DLC is the song in the Trailer with all soundtracks and the art book.(Share your opinion in the comments if you like). Haven't progressed much into the story but the interactions are nice and finding new ships is pretty fun c:. EV meets a VN. Also the music is fantastic. I really didn't see that coming.. Even as an early release it is solid overall. Excellent character sprites, good sound tracks, no hentai tentacle monsters from the 4th dimension. The character dialogue leaves much to be desired imo but nevertheless it's not like the stuff you'll find in fanfiction.net . Jokes aside the interactions are nice and I can't wait so see the rest of the story unfold. The fact you have the creator soloing this speaks volumes of his/her talent. Tbh it's nice to play these sorts of games and not feel like you're alone. You get spaceship buddies that can actually fight back! Currently I'd give this game in it's current state a 9.69/10. So far im loving this game, this the first game i ever bought on steam and im not regretting my choice one bit, the art is fantastic and the game play engaging, and while the story is not completely original(nothing is nowadays) its still unique enough to be entertaining.. Top down 2d space figher with twist where you collect a menagerie of ships; and can switch between them or order the AI to pilot one or more in support. Heavy on story- not really breaking new ground but it is competently written. I am not sure it qualifies as a visual novel because you have to win combat to progress [I think?]. I have noticed that there is an element of puzzle solving, but it is limited to ship behavior so far. The combat is moderate speed and there is a fail-state where you will have to reload a save file.. I played this game in Early Access so I've played the first 3 chapters as of right now.. I've rarely review Early Access games, but this one stuck with me enough to spur me into action. It fills a niche I've sought after for a while: a good Visual Novel with equally solid gameplay mechanics. It plays a good bit like the 'Escape Velocity' series of games, but with a much better interface for story and choices. The art is gorgeous, the story engaging, and the gameplay is satifying in both depth and challenge.
