I got a bit of mixed feelings about this game. The Persian/mystical orient theme works as well as could be expected, the plot kept me entertained despite the foreseeable ending and the minigames and hidden object scenes were generally enjoyable. Yet there were some really annoying minigames and the interactions between the two protagonists were boring at times. Very traditional male/female roles: the man does the heavy lifting and the woman shrieks a lot. And why do the Persian people in this game have to look like poorly costumed up Europeans? Still, I'd recommend it because of the plausible way the minigames fit into the plot.. I enjoyed this game and was sad that it was so short. Only 3 hours for me. I liked the Arabian Nights theme with a mythical touch. I'm tired of horror, ghosts and asylum HOs! Graphics were good, music was lovely (full orchestra) and dialogue amusing. Puzzles were fairly easy and HO scenes were few and far between I completely forgot about the palace markings, so missed that achievement! I hope they make a sequel to this. 7.5 from me.. This is a interesting game. A bit short, and while I have not played Prince of Persia, it might be a. homage to it. Anyway, the HO puzzles are interesting, the other games fun, and it is good for hours of fun. Do try it.. Great and very typical hidden object game.. The setting is ancient Persia with lots of mythical stuff, magic, etc. That's my favorite part of the game, especially the simurgh. The player character is OK, she's certainly brave although her voice got on my nerves a bit. There's a romantic subplot with the male companion, lots of banter that felt like it was trying to be Romancing the Stone or something. He keeps underestimating her, she keeps proving him wrong. I appreciate that he comes around but in the beginning he's kind of a jerk and that was annoying. There's also a genie companion, she was super cute. The puzzles are simple, but finding the palace markings was actually pretty tricky, some of them are well disguised. All in all, I enjoyed playing and would recommend.. Terrific game. Loving the addition of a second lead character that you can interact with which is so rare in Hidden Object Games. You flip flop between the two of them throughout the bulk of the game and also dialogue options such as in classic adventure games adds extra depth and interactivity for the player. The 'Prince of Persia' theme is beautiful and the visuals are stunning. I was most pleased that, without any spoliers, there may be more games to come in this series. Please, yes :) The only fault is that some of the object manipulation tasks are a little easy and there are moments you may feel as if you are just clicking your mouse to advance the story but the story is so good that I'll be forgiving. Lastly, a few games recently have had a function whereby you are an alchemist or CSI etc and you have to pickup ingredients for a kit you have to solve a problem. By far this is the first game where thankfully this is used throughout the whole game. Most others I have played use this function for the first 20 percent of the game and then it is forgotten about in favour of the usual HIdden Object puzzles etc. . Keep doing all these things so the games feel fresh and exciting and well done for trying something different.. By far the best hidden object game I've ever played. It was like playing a movie. The story was really well developed, unlike most other games like this, which don't really focus too hard on giving a really good story most of the time.
