Has to be one of the few space RPG games that has both large planet locations (with vehicles) and space combat\/exploration. Is it as refined as say... Everspace or Mass Effect? No. But it's fun, easy to pick up, and stable. I also installed the "unofficial patch", but I'm not sure what it improved... Seems the same as before.

Overall, for $15, it's a solid game.. Awesome game! 30 cents at Fanatical - pick&mix 5 bundle. There is alot of good game to be had here if you can get past the Russian audio.

The unoffical patch is a must have though.. Has to be one of the few space RPG games that has both large planet locations (with vehicles) and space combat/exploration. Is it as refined as say... Overall, for $15, it's a solid game.. Tried a few different ways to get this to work.
Normal installation: Crashed on startup
Tried starting it windowed with launch options
-autoconfig in the launch options, got to a screen with a bit of hud, but nothing would happen after that. No buttons or menus to do anything.
Tried Wesp5 patch 1.8, no change.
Tried WIndows campatability mode, no change.

Have an i5 and Radeon 270x, old, but should be able to handle a game this old.

Loved Boiling Point, would of loved to have tried this.. Played with the unofficial patch. The starting planet looks very alien, but after that it's just a generic desert spaceport with corrupt officials, a tropical planet with wolves etc. The writing is attrocious and the voice acting is Russian only (except for cutscenes with the unofficial patch).. IT'S FINALLY ON STEAM!
