I would save Quell Memento for after giving Quell and Quell Reflect a try. Memento uses the same concepts of the other two games but now includes a somewhat touching story, complemented with great soundtrack. A lot of new game mechanics are introduced as well, making levels more challenging more quickly. Great series.. Quell Memento is the third game in the trilogy and is a nice relaxing puzzle game. This installment adds even more mechanics to the gameplay, they're nice but don't always flow as nicely. Overall I still throughly enjoyed the experience. I would reccomend buying the whole Quell collection.. With no doubt, it's the best of the three Quell, thanks to the diversity. But, to my opinion, it's worth playing all of them.. Good puzzle game. It's actually quite difficult and has multiple additions from the first game. If you played the first one and thought it was a bit to easy and are wary of getting this one, don't worry: this one has some pretty challenging puzzles in it.

Just like the first one you collect pearls to beat the level and there's random hidden gems in blocks you'll have to smash your ball in to to get. I hate the gem thing and used a guide to get a good amount of them because I think it's stupid to have hidden stuff like that in puzzle games. I'm playing a puzzle game, not a smash my ball into every block simulator.

This game adds multiple unique ways puzzles have to be completed unlike regular quell though.
-light up all the blocks to adds certain color
-light up all the diamonds with your light rays
-a weird gold pearl that turns your ball gold and mostly screws with level completion for various reasons
-moving a red ball simultaneously with your blue ball (red balls kill)
-there's hidden levels with hidden items in some levels. They follow the same unlocking procedure as the gems, so I hate them

All in all, just ignore the gems and you've got yourself a nice little puzzle game on your hands. It's very challenging at points and if you enjoy puzzle games or blue balling then this game is easily recommended for you.. liek dis if u cri evritim. Early game: Ma, I got this in the bag!! No sweat!

Easily one of the best puzzles I've played in many years. Good art & soothing music. I'm hooked on this game series. 10\/10. If you like puzzle games, you will love Quell Memento. A various number of newly introduced game-mechanics were sensefully used to design mind-provoking puzzles, that go into deep without being unfair. The presentation of the game is more than professional. No time limits, so you can chillout on the sounds and let your mind do the work. Excellent !

Sometimes the music is a little bit too melancholic where it should be more relaxing. The music in the bonus-levels, that are entered over the bronze rings, is like tense drum-tremor - i dont like that. But beyond these two blemishes Quell Memento is an excellent puzzle game for a friendly price !. I enjoyed original "Quell" game but I have to say this is even better.

This is great game for those who like puzzle\/relaxed games.
If you want interesting and brain-challenging pastime for few hours this game is for you!
I'm amazed how well built game they have done for very low price.. The third game in the Quell<\/i> series, Quell Memento<\/i> offers 144 new puzzles (nearly double the 84 of the two previous games). While Quell Reflect<\/i> introduced a couple of new puzzle mechanics to the tile-shifting gameplay, Quell Memento<\/i> expands on this much further, with many more new puzzle type, used both on their own and in combination. As examples of these new mechanics, levels might not require all of the 'light' blocks in a level to be 'turned on' by passing next to them, or feature orbs that emit light rays that need to illuminate certain new crystal types.

The puzzles can get quite challenging at times, and the requirement to solve each once before being able to progress to the next means that from time to time I was reaching for a guide, at least to start me in the right direction - but on the whole the game's pitched about right to give a satisfying experience, with difficulty increasing through each of the nine puzzle sets.

Presentationally, Quell Memento<\/i> makes some significant improvements over the first two games. There's a light storyline that's developed as you progress through puzzle sets, the interface gets an overall revamp, and there's once again a fittingly relaxing soundtrack throughout.. Bought all three Quell's in a bundle pack. And so glad I did. I've now tried them all out and love them. All three are excellent. But in this one the speaker kind of breaks the relaxation. However, you can turn off voice without turning off anything else. I like that the it gives you total control over each aspect of the game. I'm now officially addicted to the Quell games. For the price fo the bundle, it's well worth it. I lose track of time while I'm playing, it's so relaxing and engrossing.
