Great game, incredibly well done, especially for an early access game. Could be better if there were more players but the bot system is done very well to fill those empty spots so you always have a full game. Would definitely recommend.. Just came back to if after a while, and its still a great game. The player base is a little low, but there are still peak times, where it is possible to find game with other players, and if not, the bots are flying very well too. 4 planes have been added to the game since launch, which really have increased the options for different playstyles, depending on your playstyle as a dogfighter, or if you are more of a boom and zoom kinda pilot. Co-op campaign have also been added to the game which works perfect for trying the different planes solo or with your friends.. Super fun game! Great mechanics!. It s aloat of fun shooting ground and air vehicles.. i played this game for a while a long while and ive grown addicted to this game and i just need to say a MASSIVE thanks to the devs for creating a good acrade style top down shooter and this game shows promise verry big promise after reading the discussions and on discord the comunity for this game is a good and friendly one as well as flooding with new ideas and to sum it up thank you and good work Devs and a massive thanks and good luck for the future P.S You can be my wingman any time.. This is a good addicting game.. Fun game, easy game play after a few hours, TOP GUN theme and an addictive plane game.. There are many positive things about this game ranging from its decent price, to its fun and easy to understand gameplay a few things which I hope they improve on are the low aircraft count *3 Aircraft per team + 2 Unlockable aircraft for each team to make 8 aircraft currently* The textures which I'm sure is only a limitation on the engine itself, and this is a personal gripe but I'd like to beable to zoom in abit closer to the screen Then again this is all Early Access and it is absolutly Fabulous for an Early Access as well!. This is the best game that no one is playing. Gameplay is solid, action is relentless, combat is unforgiving. Figure it's like Top Gun, but better since A) there's no awkward bromance with Goose, b) your GF doesn't turn out to be a lesbian. It's only missing some epic karaokes. FUN FACT: people giving this game a thumbs down are actually up-voting while inverted.
New season! Engine update! : One month has passed since the release. The community on Discord is still very active and has become a really good place for Sky Knights pilots to hang out! Season #1 has ended! [SDP]Pripyat took the first place this time and earned a 500 wings reward! Congratulations! Everybody else on the leaderboard (position 2-10) received between 100 to 400 wings. Great flying! Season #2 started today! All ranks have been reset to 25, so take your chance to climb the leaderboard! In this update I mostly focused on things that perhaps aren't that visual and exciting, but still needed to be done. The biggest task this week was to update the game engine to the latest version. This was necessary in the long term to be able to easily add new things to the game in the future . Such undertakings often turn into a "can of worms" because of technical dependencies. With some assistance from dear friend Jonas Johansson from Neuston (check out his awesome VR game "Drone Hero") we finally managed to fix the broken shaders (saving us from having to play on a completely pink map). :) I added an email address field in the ingame bug report tool. This field is optional, but it's really nice to be able to contact you to report if/when your bug has been fixed! (I might even have a small gift for you) 1.0.7 * Game engine update. * Can now click Enter instead of having to press the GUI after having entered a server password. * Disabled hotjoining in spectator matchers. * Added support for running experimental Steam beta versions. * Added option to provide email address in bug reports. * Fixed a bug that caused GUI overlap in the tutorial suggestion screen first time the game starts.. Update 1.4.7 Game Balance : Balance! Tweaks! Fixes!. AI Update #1 : AI improvements. Air superiority and morale balancing : This update addresses the balancing issue that there are few downsides to flying the air superiority fighters vs the other options in the game. Game balance is hard. Especially when the ambition is that everything in the game should be somewhat representative to its real-life counterpart. It's a common feedback point, especially from newer players, that there's no point in flying anything else than an air-superiority fighter. While this might not be 100% true, the air-superiority fighters clearly are the most important elements in most teams. The game is mostly centered around air-to-air combat, and that's intended. That's where most depth can be achieved. That said, I want the air-to-ground aspect to be important as well. It would be easy to start nerfing the F-15 and the Su-27 to make them less dominant in the air. However, that'd feel wrong, since these fighter are made to be just that.. Gamepad Keybindings! : Gamepad keybindings. Stability and upgrade cost balancing : It has been a great first few days! Reception is really good and we are starting to see more players joining us in the skies! In today's patch I've taken care of some bugs related to landings. I've also adjusted to some of the upgrade price tags. 1.0.3 * Fixed rare bug where you sometimes could not land. * Fixed bug where you got a "landing aborted" message when your were inbound for landing. * Decreased the cost of Bomber Loadout upgrade from 500 to 400. * Decreased the cost of High Vision Canopy Modification upgrade from 300 to 200. * Decreased the cost of Stealth Modification upgrade from 500 to 400. * Adjusted main menu layout to eliminate overlap in 16:10 resolutions. * Fixed bug where you were awarded the "Watch the mountains!" achievement when an AI dies because of a player hot-joining.
