Not the typical style of game I play, however, I was having loads of fun! Lots of weapon choices, easy to get into! If you like shooting things, and having a group effort this is the game for you! Totally worth it!. The developer gave me a code for this game* I played this game and i really enjoyed it. The jist is you are either the humans or the Aliens (Squids) abd you play on a sort of isometric overhead battle field. My favorite role/job in this game is being the guy who goes around harvesting resourses. You have to Harvest in order to level up yout weapons and vehicles; this consists of any scrap metal you can find around town, human civilians, or even the frozen corpses of your enemies. I mostly harvested while the rest of the team fought but i got in my fair share of running and gunning. The combat is a bit tricky at first (moving with wasd while moving your mouse and clicking to shoot) but you get the hang of it really fast! all in all really enjoyed this game. the only gripe ive had is that there are sometimes more bots than people, but the AI is very smart, and the developer has been running LFGs to get more people in the game.. SQUIDS FROM SPACE or the ultimate b-movie top down pvp shooter ))) Unreal engine 4 never looked so sexy and the devs too. Overall having fun recording and playing, fully support and love at most.. The advertised singleplayer mode does not exist -The Camera is too close to the battlefield which makes it very hard to see anything north and south of the map -Viewblocking huds and messages -Spawn, spray a clip of low damage bullets to kill someone and die on reload.. Anyone who enjoyed fat princess will love this. Same developers. I love how fun and casual this game is. Its a fresh change of pace and I think people will enjoy it. For me personally, i love this game and i plan on playing it for a while.. this game is amazingly fun! I would suggest making sure you play completly thru the tutorial or you will miss the Squi side of the tutorial.. My new best casual game! I really like gameplay and graphics, lot's of fun to play! I really like use squids weapons as human, and like squids second chance to revive thing! Humans 3 and 4 levels guns are cool, airstrike is my favourite, good agains slow sqiuds robots.. There's only one server and the dev is on there with superweapons. But it's the only way you can play with friends online. RESPONSE TO DEV: Then what was the giant mech that the dev strutted around with during Halloween? We stopped playing on the dev server because we were simply overpowered every time. I bought seven copies of this game to get other people to play, since it is a fun MP game. But we've lost them all, because nobody could learn how to play. We kept getting our asses kicked. Scaling servers don't help if the dev server never fills up - and it never seems to. Point is, I spent money to get a fun MP game for my friends and I. Instead we paid to get slapped around by superplayers who clearly have access to things we don't. Consequently nobody wants to play this anymore. When I complained, the dev just said we could wait for launch. In other words, thanks for the money, now sod off.. 10/10 The game is really fun and I love it already! Mechanics are easy to learn and both Squids and Humans are well balanced. Developers are extremely friendly, open to players' suggestions and very responsive. They care a lot about the community (which is a very good thing). The game is defenitely heading in a good direction and it's totally worth the price.. Just bought the game on the winter sale for .49 cents and after playing 1 round decided to buy 11 more copies. graphically, musically and mechanically it's a wonderful joyride of whacky fun. It is a must have for anyone that enjoys whacky pvp games. well worth the money even at their whopping 2.99 full price tag.
