Worst of all, Hiro, Tyson's brother has been hired on to coach the BEGA Blader's! Tyson tells his troubles to Ray but gets no sympathy. Secretly Ray has always wanted to battle Tyson when he was at his championship best so he challenges his old friend. An intense battle ensues with Tyson eventually coming out the winner. Ray is satisfied but his blade and Tyson's is ruined. With no hope of getting replacement parts the team decides to build their own blades and go face the BEGA Blader's in battle!
