Good one. Nice story and locations. Though it is short (about 3 hrs) and some puzzles are annoying (can be skipped).. This game was pretty fun up until that boss "puzzle". It is unbeatable. I cannot finish this game. DO. NOT. BUY. IT. VERY VERY UNSATISFYING.. A great puzzle game.

The first thing you are going to enjoy are the graphics and animations this game has. Also, it has a great story and fun story, which is explained by beautifully animated cutscenes. Also, the voice acting during the cutscenes is pretty good.

The puzzles you´ll find during the game are very entertaining and trying, and if you met certain conditions, can lead you to unlock extras in-game, such as gallery images.

All in all, a great puzzle game with a rich story. if i were to give it a score, i´ll give it a 9 out of 10.

Lo primero que encuentras al lanzar el juego son los gráficos y animaciones del juego. También tiene una gran historia, explicada mediante bellas escenas animadas, y cuenta con un trabajo de voces durante estas escenas bastante bueno.

Los puzzles que puedes encontrar en este juego son entretenidos, además de un reto, y si consigues superarlos cumpliendo ciertos requisitos, se desbloquearán extras dentro del propio juego , en forma de imagenes del juego en la galería.

En resumen, un gran juego de puzzles con una gran historia. Si le diera una puntuación, seria de 9 sobre 10. Muy recomendado.. This game is a really good hidden object/puzzle game. If you've ever enjoyed a game by Big Fish games then you will love The Big Secret of a Small Town.

Story: There isn't much story and what there is I had forgotten by the end. You are a detective trying to find the mayor (I think, I honestly forgot all the story by the end).

Level Design: It does a great job of keeping the area you can explore small in order to minimize confusion and backtracking. One thing that can get annoying with adventure games is getting 45 minutes into a game and realizing you forgot an object in the first screen. Big Secret is designed to keep your frustration to a minimum.

Puzzles: The puzzles cover a wide variety of styles, from slide puzzles to Tetris block puzzles. If I recall correctly, not a single style was repeated so it never got repetitive or boring. The only puzzle I disliked was the final puzzle, which was seemingly random. The flow of the game is: You're stuck in an area. Find hidden objects, use objects on devices which leads to a puzzle that rewards you with an object that you use on a central puzzle which in turn helps you exist the area. It's a nice formula that kept me hooked to the end.

Overall: I recommend The Big Secret if you like casual puzzle games. Sometimes it can be hard to find genuinely good casual games so I say jump on this one if that's your thing.. Not recommended. Unituitive, bad UI, 4*3 resolution. Story is almost nonexistent. Clues stoppped working half way through the story. Drawing is good though. Also there is an item that you never use and it just stays with you till the end. Kinda stange for a HOG. BTW it's not classical HOG actualy. You just have to pixel-hunt few times to collect several objects.
