+Can be a good addition for Achievment Hunters and Perfect Game Collectors (such as myself). -The BIG dissapointment is that is HAS NO trading cards, even if the Store Page tells you otherwise, - From the game mechanics , The Mouse is moving as if it ''slides'' can't make a short stop which can be pretty annoying while jumping at the moving platforms. So in the end, well, I wasnt expecting something groundbreaking from an indie platformer, I just installed , got what I wanted and uninstalled it. (Achievments).. no no no.wtf. Feels like someones first attempt at a platformer. Only reason to buy this is for an easy Perfect game. Can't find any cards that it claims to have.. It's a fun game, reminds me a bit of transformice. Sadly the achievements don't work.. funny platformer game where you are a mouse overcoming obstacles to get a piece of tasty cheese. after you gather all the cheese next level gate opens and you have to proceed there. level after level game becomes more and more complicated with more and more obstacles and enemies. great for a casual gameplay and cheap enough.. Broken achievements and very short playtime, also after a while the wasps seem to glitch and not move.. The Brave Mouse is a platform game, with nicely-drawn graphics and twelve levels. You jump from platform to platform (some of which are in motion), grabbing pieces of cheese (three per level), whilst avoiding spears, wasps, and fires. Whilst I quite liked the graphics, I found the gameplay rather frustrating. Some of the jumps to moving platforms had to be very carefully timed, or guessed at, added to which you have to avoid various traps - and a slight mistake may mean you have to start the whole process all over again. I had to do some levels again and again and again, until I just got really annoyed - that probably means that my skill level wasn't good enough, but it also means that my annoyance level was increased until I stopped enjoying the game. When you die, it would have been good to be able to start from the last spot you were at - but that's not what happens, so I guess that's just the nature of the beast. Since I bought The Brave Mouse at a special price, the cost wasn't a problem - its usual price on Steam is only $2 anyway. However, the problem was the lack of enjoyment that I got from this game. It's a shame that I didn't like the gameplay, because I quite liked the artwork in The Brave Mouse. For those who like platform games, and are good at them, this may be worth buying, but I don't think I can recommend a game which I found to be so annoying. 4/10.
