This WW2 epic was one of the last movies of that kind made in former Yugoslavia. It tells the true story of great transport of Partizans from Vojvodina to Bosnia in 1943.
One of the last films of so-called partisan film did not provide anything new in the field of atmosphere and rhythm. Bulajić wanted to repeat if not nearly, then at least very near success of the movie The Battle of Neretva, but there's only the attempt. Poor profiled characters, little action, weak narrations are just made ​​this movie one of the worst in the history of partisan movies.
