About This Game

It was supposed to be a simple mission. All I had to do was collect some samples from a contaminated area under the sea. As soon as I left the ship, everything went wrong. Communications were lost and my submarine crashed on the ocean floor. I survived, but my oxygen is running low and I can't contact anyone for help. All I can do is move forward with this operations drone as my only companion. Trouble is, it's been acting sort of weird lately. Almost as if it's trying to sabotage my mission...

Anoxemia is a story-driven exploration game that puts you in control of the scientist Dr. Bailey and his operations drone, ATMA. Search the ocean floor as you discover and extract samples from the bowels of the underwater caves. Danger lurks in each passageway, everything from poison drifts to powerful ocean currents, mines leftover from the war, and mobile machines running haywire. There's also the ever-present risk of running out of oxygen. Fortunately, ATMA can help guide you to your destination using a few special tools and upgrades. Assuming you can find them, that is.

The world of Anoxemia is both breathtaking and perilous. The seas are quiet most of the time, but as soon as you see a flashing light or hear a noise echoing from the distance, you know it's time to run. Of course, there are some dangers you just can't run from. Dangers you don't even know exist. Dangers from within...

dull and repetitive game.

the levels are all the same over and over again, nothing too hard, nothing too difficult.

The character tends to get stuck a lot, and seems to be a lot of bugs.

. I tried to beat this game (And I will in the future) But right now im really♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥at it.
I got 22 levels in before I couldn't go any further.
Reason being.
I had no energy.
didin't get enough energy in level 20 and had to rush through 21 cause theirs only ONE energy pack in that level.
And then i beat the level with only 4 seconds of energy left. Although the game was "merciful" and gave me a whole minute of energy. It didn't even help cause level 22 is a long puzzle level with and get this. NO ENERGY PACKS BUT LIKE 10 OXYGEN TANKS. And I made sure too! I was able to get one on the level through the boxes you find but guess what. I GOT KILLED BY THE STUPID SPIKE THINGS ON THE WALL CAUSE I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION. And the box DOSEN'T RESPAWN. I really wanted to beat this game but I guess Ill have to at another time when im ready to go through 22 whole levels again this time remembering not to make the same mistake. And yes I had to delete all my save data to fix this.
For now Im giving a bad rating untill I finish the game and can give a proper review just for this.. Well, as for me, I underline next points:

1) excellent graphics - for indie project it 10/10 (for game below 5-7$ - one of the best choices on steam store)
2) deep horror atmosphere 10/10
3) perfect soundtrack 10/10
4) all what I can say about gameplay - it's very addictive (and when I say very I mean VERY!!)/ I forget about time when I was passing through first 15 levels.
5) finally it is an honest old school underwater horror.

Not much indie games since last few years make me so happy and excited.
My recommendation is strictly positive. 10 underwater samples from 10 XD. Fun little underwater platformer,
complete with acid, mines and oxygen plants.

Overall it just couldn't hold my attention, plus I ran into some physics issues that would cause your drone to get trapped a bit too easily at times. Very frustrating when you're most of the way through a level and that happens.
