About This Game

The Wild West...

The turning point of all Western civilisation, the dawn of an era- for the first time in decades people could leave their hard lives all over the world with the hopes of becoming rich beyond their wildest dreams.

Do you want to make money out of the gold rush? Or do you have other plans in mind? No matter! Whatever you want to do, you will be able to do in Frontier! Currently in Early Access, we have huge plans for development and a dedicated team who is ready to bring you a steady stream of updates so you're always finding new features to discover. With everything from tobacco farming and cigarette rolling to crime fighting and destroying evidence in the works, we are working towards creating the most diverse simulation of the frontier movement ever imagined for gamers to experience!

But what's it all about?

Frontier is whatever you want it to be. The current version already brings you a robust building system, resource gathering, stunning graphics with PBR textures, a huge map (which is tiny in comparison to the final world we're constructing), 6 types of animal to hunt, alcohol to keep you entertained on your travels, wild hallucinogenic plants to harvest and consume, a butchery system so you can skin dead animals, plus a beautiful and dynamic weather simulation.

But this is only the beginning.

Frontier is in it's infancy. Over the next few months, the game will grow to include countless new features, including intelligent NPCs to populate your cities, a detailed economic simulation, and an enormous and lore-rich environment, just to name a tiny amount of what we have planned.

Our designs revolve around player freedom. We want to put the world in your hands, giving you complete control over how you live your life in the Wild West. Create settlements and manage your people, become a cattle baron and make your fortune, compete in drinking contests in one of your own saloons, trade goods, fight outlaws, rob banks and engage in the hundreds of activities we have planned!

Upcoming Features

You're probably wondering exactly what we have in store for you. Well look no further, here is a brief summary of some of our more unique future updates. This list is not comprehensive, and is subject to change (with the guidance of the Steam community, although we fully intend to include everything on this list);

• NPCs- A wide range of intelligent characters to settle your towns, spend money in your shops and interact with you throughout the world
• An authentic arsenal stocked with period-correct weaponry, carrying everything from Winchesters to Gatling guns
• Many more blocks for our building system, allowing you to create expensive, upscale mansions and cozy campsites
• Enormous, lore-rich map system for you to explore, with different areas bringing their own environments and wildlife
• Diverse activities system, bringing you everything from drinking contests and shooting challenges to bar brawls and bounty hunting
• Indepth "Vice" System- New drugs to harvest and create, illegal activities to take part in for quick cash, and even poker tournaments

Community involvement is going to be key to the development of Frontier. We want to know exactly what you like and don't like, and exactly what you want to see brought to the game in future updates. This game had potential. In it's current state, it's very glitchy and the developers seem to have just dropped the game as a whole. Don't waste your money.. I purchased game as a single player wild west game. Now it's going to be DayZ-Wild West Shoot-on-Sight Gankfest w/cheaters!. (Minus the zombies..) You might enjoy it when finished, I will not.

Graphics are decent but currently there's not much to do. Tech demo, more of less. Will be unable to re-review it upon release, due to terminal cancer. So glad you delayed the game for a few "MP Only" ♥♥♥♥♥.

I do NOT recommend it. Delevelopment has come to a stand still. No updates, and no info other than tthe last communication that the MP part of the game that would not slow down game development according to the dev, has indeed slowed it down..

@Developer: Enjoy the donation.. I dont usually buy games this early in release, especially with barely any reviews or videos, so this purchase is for pure support of the developers.
The game is empty, even for EA games, its not playable, unless you love to walk around empty terrain for hours. At this stage I wouldnt even call it a game,
I dont even know if there is a forum where we can submit our ideas.
I would hate to see this game start getting negative reviews, so if you plan on buying this game expecting hours of fun at this stage, PLEASE do not buy it.

So a year later, this game is abandoned, never really got anywhere since release, we gave the developer a fair chance. Stay away. Its going to be a GREAT GAME. Keep up the good work and hard work also dont let the negative stuff get you down. You are doing a great job developing this game.. I understand this is in Early Access, but I have played better Indie games on the 360 that probably took a day to make. But if they worked on expanding the worlds and adding ALOT of stuff , this game would go places. But as it is, its a waste at $12.99. To sum it up, I would not recommend this game at this moment. Maybe in the future.. A classic example of steam and a bad dev group working together to steal peoples money! Don't buy this game if you value your money and time and steam support are a bunch of greedy bastards that won't refund broken or abandoned games. Those of you who can't get refunds you should look into exposing steam for what they are. Normally I support steam but not refunding a game that is clearly abandoned and not working proves steam cares less about it's wonderful community of players. I hope one of you players with lots of money one day get fed up with steam support and there garbage refund policy and sue there asses They deserve it! Steam support -1000000000\/10. This game certainly has the potential to be a classic, there are a few faults but i am sure the devs will iron these out as they update and add to the overall gameplay and enviroment. so its a thumbs up and 7 out of 10 for the moment,. I got barely any hours on it but its amazing. For early access its really good. Its got pretty decent graphics. The hunting is pretty awesome to. It brings back that western feel and what it was like back in the day for them. This game also has a lot of work to be done but I think its great for just being released. If you like crafting and building and having to defend for your self out in the wild then this is for you!!! There are some things that need work for example the building is not perfect, it has trouble snapping the walls and floors together. Also movement needs some work to but really this game is pretty awesome and I suggest it for all you people that like to survive. I want to see better body movements and maybe even 3rd person. Also maybe some tools to level the land. Another part of this game that needs help is that everytime I build a house I will exit the game to take a break or whatever and then I get back on and part of my house is missing! Building needs some work!
