About This Game

Enter an unforgiving survival horror experience as you fight for your life against oppressive odds. The horrors of Arzt Memorial Hospital were just the beginning of the outbreak. Its a good game. nice awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. If your a fan of RE Outbreak this game is up your alley. Tank controls, fixed camera angles, limited inventory space, and 4 player online co op! Game may not be perfect since its early access but I have high hopes for it. Great job devs! And thanks for making a game like this. Not enougn love these days for games that play like RE 1-3. Cool game, but literally 0 people playing it online. I do recommend it, but when it goes on sale and there is a huge influx of new players to find a game with.. Most of the negative reviews are coming from people who clearly didn't grow up with tank controls. Game's fine from what I've played so far, though it suffers from a lack of players.

It's not Resident Evil Outbreak and it's by no means a spiritual successor, but it's pretty fun for what it is. Pick it up with some friends.. Love your game bro reminds me of a lot of good times keep up the good work. i give this game thumb up because of the developer effort to revive RE Outbreak. Unfortunately the game is bad, bad animation, bad camera angel placement, bad map designs but some were good, weak shotgun, crazy fps drop, and etc you name it. This is the game to play with your mates just for fun or to laugh because playing solo would be a bit frustrating.. Its a great indie Resident Evil: outbreak clone. well worth the price (though I got it on sale) . if you long for a old school fixed perspective survival horror, well you can't do much better than this.

Outbreak: The New Nightmare is leaving Early Access in January 2018. When the game transitions to a full release, the price will increase. Grab it now at the cheaper price point and tell your friends!

With just little over a month to go until the transition to full release, the nightmare is becoming more and more real. This game has had a fantastic run in Early Access (almost 6 months now!) and have added a tremendous amount of content, features, fixes, performance boosts and much much more. The community has been fantastic in giving the game non-stop feedback that has directly shaped the direction and presentation of the experience.

THANK YOU for all of your support, well wishes and thoughts. With co-op survival horror dying off in the last few years, it has been awesome to be a part of revitalizing the genre. And I feel it turned out pretty well for being primarily worked on by a single developer for over two years with no budget. ;)

As we close in on the final stretch, there's a few more fixes and tweaks that are being eyed up right now. Some of them are rather dangerous, so they might not make the cut, but polish is always on my mind. I'm also busy working on the console port as well.

I also want to make sure to call out the support from key community members like Standemonium!! and Mr RSpeedy. Stan was a great help in layouting the office and city initial environments and Speedy has been a fantastic community leader and coordinator (and trailer participant!). Their support helped me greatly through the daily grind as I continued to build each piece and integrate necessary assets. (And thank you to the Unity Asset Store creators as well!)

Outbreak: The New Nightmare v1.3.0 has been released. This patch includes the following:

Upgraded the underlying engine to latest version.
Minor performance improvements.
Fixed a lighting issue in a side room before the electrical hallway.
Removed remaining light fixtures in Blackout.
In most scenarios, the chest flashlight can be toggled and its state will persist.
In Blackout, flashlights can no longer be turned off.
The Guardian at the end of the Outbreak scenario must now be killed to evac.
The Outbreak scenario Guardian has been buffed.
Addressed an empty lockpickable room in the Outbreak scenario by adding supplies.
Added lockpickable rooms to the Blackout scenario filled with supplies.
Items and some objectives now emit a faint glow instead of the particle burst.
Fixed an issue where players could regain control of their characters after reaching the Evac Zone.
Items are no longer randomly culled in the Tutorial scenario.
Fixed a bug where it was possible to get killed after winning a scenario.
The Enduring achievement is now awarded on the correct wave.
