Is the game perfect? No. Are there bugs? Yes.

But, is the game still enjoyable?? Hell yes. Bugs/issues aside, the game is the amazing and a lot of fun (granted it probably requires you to be at least somewhat a cycling fan. I've been playing the game for about 10 years now and while there are always issues, it's still a gem of a game. If you can find the game somewhere for a cheaper deal, don't hesitate picking it up.

Also, do make sure to get the PCMdaily database packs as they sure add a lot to realism.. good game as every year. Played this for a few hours now and had a blast so far. Totally immersive if you love cycling and some great mods available. It\u2019s the first version of the game I\u2019ve played so can\u2019t really advise either way if you already have 17. But anyone who likes cycling should be getting this. Only slight issue so far is it seems a little easy, especially the levelling up in pro cyclist mode. It\u2019s tough to win races at the start at least and it was a real buzz when I got that first win. Few graphical bugs here and there but no crashes thus far. Strong recommend from me.. I buy this game every other year to get enough new features. But Once more too many crashes. 1st race : crash twice, I simulated the first one thinking maybe a problem with this specific one.

3rd race : crash,

I will not play for a month or 2, to see if we are getting updates.

I'm sorry but I had to refund the game, People recived the game for free before it came out and they leave good reviews but honestly day of when the game came out ive seen some crazy bugs and♥♥♥♥♥♥that really annoyed me from 2017 soo NO I will not support a game that is a copy and paste excpet from a few UI changes I have mods for 2017 that make the game 2018 soo no big deal I will buy PCM2018 but not for the full price thus is why I refunded it I will wait for a sale then get it sorry PCM2018. Improvement from last year. Less bugs and working smoothly. Love the new features.. Very good game and the pro cyclist mode is so addicting, already played 7 seasons, its a bit stupid that level 26 is max cus u dont have a objective after u leveled max. This game is fantastic, and I would definitely recommend buying this game (or a previous PCM game) if you are a cycling fan. Make sure to download a "real name" database from the workshop, they are an absolute must for me!

There are some real improvements over the last PCM I played (2016). Gameplay during races feels much better, it is now a lot harder to win. Races in pro rider mode are much more entertaining with the rider development where you gain xp for completing "race goals".
While these improvements are significant from PCM 2016 and probably PCM 2017 I am not sure they justify the full retail price for what feels like the same game. The commentary during races has now been the same for many years, and by now has become very annoying!

I bought it during a sale with 75% off and that was definitely worth it.

. Fun and yet (again) better than earlier editions. Still buggy at the time of writing. It’s obviously still not a triple A title and could do better with an overhaul of the interface and gameplay mechanics. Nevertheless still the king of it’s genre. Don’t forget to install and play with the great mods!. More in-depth review will follow in the future. This is my first PCM since 2011, but from videos, other reviews and comments it's easy to tell that there are not that many obvious new features in this edition. However, one thing quite a few people mentioned and that is actually noticeable is a significant AI improvement, one of the most important and, historically, most problematic parts of the game. I believe that this alone is worth buying the game if you're enjoying cycling and management games. At least I, in the few races I've played so far (waiting until a few more patches and a complete database before I start a career), had a lot of fun - the game feels challenging, the AI decisions mostly feel realistic, sprints are a lot better than they were years ago, and one thing these games have always done right was catching the atmosphere of an intense cycling race. It's no less in this edition.
