Peter Parker is exploring the concept of becoming an Avenger. Tony Stark tries to help Peter, but he does not have total faith in Spider-Man to become a hero. And so Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man sets off to prove he is worthy to become an Avenger while at the same time trying to manage his ordinary teenage life.
Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May, under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark, Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine - distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man - but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
I loved spiderman movies so far, specially the Amazing Spiderman series. But this one, which i was most excited about, is an awful movie.

Stupid story grounds. Shown a very stupid side of Mr Happy and all security agencies including those which didn't even care to take the matter seriously i.e. SHIELD. No one seems to care that alien tech is being used in common crimes. How stupid is that.

Spiderman is a boy obsessed to become a part of avengers. he looks like a kid who rode the bicycle for the first time and dying to have the second ride and for that the kid does all type of acts to get attention.

Movie is more centered about Avengers and what Ironman means to spiderman. No solid action scenes. Spiderman is converted into another ironman type thing with super suit and nothing more. And the kid is taking down stuff not knowing the capabilities.

all in all, i was utterly disappointed by the movie. was expected a good platform to introduce new spiderman that was to be a part of Avengers in next movies. At the moment, this spiderman should really just sit at home and play with LEGO. Very weak script with dumb characters. Even my 11years old son thinks of it it's not worthy. Seems that more and more these characters are lacking brains. I don't really undertand why Michael Keaton was part of it.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is so joyously entertaining that it’s enough to temporarily cure any superhero fatigue. There’s wit, smarts and a nifty, inventive plot that serves as a reminder of what buoyant fun such films can bring.
Yes. The film opens with some home movies Peter made about his trip to Berlin. The main villain is "The Vulture" (Michael Keaton). The Vulture is a classic villain from the original Marvel comic books and was originally going to appear in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 4" before that sequel was scrapped. Yes, there's a mid-credit scene that sets up "The Sinister Six" and an inconsequential snippet with Captain America at the very end of the credits.
