Great game! my favorite TD game ever. Great artwork, and even though there is no voice-overs, the story is good and the map is expansive. Working to the late game feels nice and "grinding" is quick and rewarding.. Fun game, definitely worth it for under $10 if you're looking for an interesting variation on a tower defence game. The story diaglue is simplistic, and very badly written, both from a "quality of story" standpoint, and because of poor grammar and bad translating (broken English). That said, you can get the gist of the story, and it doesn't really detract from the actual gameplay. Just keep your expectations low when it comes to the story aspects, and you'll be fine. The early game is very easy, but the difficulty ramps up the further in you get. There are enough levels that it will keep you busy for several hours.. Don't waste your money on this joyless and worthless time suck i want my money back 1/10. 18hours and 100% completion I can say this game is definitely worth the price, it's simple to get the hang of, offers great challenges along with the main campaign, the art and music are both very suited to the gameplay. If I could suggest one draw back it would be the leveling system, at rank 16 you've unlocked everything, you'll hit rank 16 by the time you're about 50% through the campaign if you pick up side missions along the way, and afterwards it does get a little dull since you aren't unlicking anything new, but none the less still an aamzing game that I would totally recommend.. The game is boring, I feel that I am only moving turrets in and out of the tower to reload them. Wait times and collecting constructions parts, gold and crystal feels as if I was playing some idle clicker game.. Oh this title I already like after just a few minutes of gameplay. I can see my self spend atleast 50-100 hours in this (write this at 1h of game time) Why? A good blend of Strategic/TowerDefencesk/micromanage. Worth full asking price? Yes.. This is different kind of TD game. The setting is all the more interessting and the gameplay set pieces are just so wonderful fitting. It's not too hard, a bit confusing and then it does offer a perfect challenge since there's no path, just waves and waves of enemies that want to be taken out. Then there's game mechanics surrounding the main stage like getting green glowy stones to buy new technologies and money to hire people to steal money or machine parts. It is confusing as it is wonderful and the main attraction is a sweet TD game with waves and waves of enemies. The tower is just one tower which you fill up with weapons that run out of bullets, but you can reload. If you reload in the centre of the tower it goes quicker and that's because waves and waves of enemies are at the edge of the tower, I guess.. A very innovative approach to tower defense genre. This game will give you a lot of fun. If you're unsure whether to buy it, try Steampunk Tower 1 - a free browser game. Part two is superior in every respect, but at least you will now what to expect.
