Got it for free in promotion. Played an hour. finished first of four campaigns. Story is silly, playing is repetitive, if you expect deep or complex strategy elements, there are none. Game is basically psychotic clicker, where you spend your gold immediately after you earn it, buying more miners, byuing more units, byuing more spells and upgrades. You are sending everything you have on the enemy with no direct control over your forces, bombarding enemy with spells or boosting your troops with spells hwenever your spells are available. I suspect this is direct port from flashgame or mobile game but despite the game being shallow, silly, with no depth at all and "story" written by a potato, I actually had fun for the whole hour I was playing.. This game is so addicting xD. Why the game have an increased sensitivity? Cant even play this game.. It's definitely a charming game and simple enough to beat for a night, at it's price I recommend it if you know you're gonna play it on multiple occasions. There is tactics too but it can be overruled easily by luck or brute force. It feels like it should have a hoard mode and someway to stop soldiers in their tracks for defence.. Swords and Soldiers HD is another of these mobile-like games that's made it onto PC and it's immediately apparent when you play it that it was not created for any kind of sophisticated controller. Even this incredibly simple gameplay is in sore need of a keybinding or two. That being it's not a terrible game. The simplicity does have some advantages and the cutesy humor helps you endure it. It is however, not a game I'd recommend anyone buy at anything remotely close to what they're asking for it, it is basically a flash game made with the simplest of tools and there are many better alternatives in actual free flash games and mods for various strategy games.. Colorful cartoon soldiers with amusing animations. A rousing orchestral soundtrack and light, comical voice acting. A streamlined RTS that is simple to control and provides a nice challenge.. Actually does a really decent job at distilling the basic RTS experience into a far simpler format, and yet it does so with more polish and presentation than other minimalist RTS games do. The push-and-pull, ebb-and-flow of a good RTS match is perfectly captured in the tug-of-war level design here, with just enough silly story justification and interesting mechanics to make things fresh for the duration of the campaign. Definitely something to get if you're trying to introduce people to the RTS genre, or if you're a fan of light strategy games.
