About This Game

Gary the Gull is an VR Interactive Animated Short Film where you are part of the story!

You're about to enjoy a tasty lunch on a beach when a seagull shows up and starts talking to you. And you can talk back! Answer Gary's questions by nodding or shaking your head, talking (using voice recognition), or by doing nothing at all. Your decisions affect how the story plays out, giving you different experiences of the same narrative when you try it again. Interact with the environment by using motion controllers to draw in the sand, pick up your drink, or toss your flip-flops around on the beach.

Gary the Gull is directed by Mark Walsh of Motional, an 18-year Pixar writer-director and animation supervisor, including the director of the Pixar short film Partysaurus Rex. It was built in partnership with the ex-Pixar ex-Bungie team at Limitless. a09c17d780

2/5 on interesting level, very short but free.
Liked the voices and the idea but first game to ever crash my system completely.
Can't recommend.. Very nice! Although quite short, this little marvel points to a future of interactive film experiences. I loved how I could talk to Gary the Gull and that his actions would in fact reflect the conversation!

I give it 6 Toupees out of 8, GG developer :^). I was *really* looking forward to trying Gary the Gull. The idea of interactive animation sounds so exciting to me. The animation and the visual style are good, but this game (well, "short interactive video") is plagued by constant crashes and non-interactive AI. It was good for the first 15 seconds.. I thought the memes were pretty cheeky, it was a decent little animation and it's free so give it a go.

I give it 6 Toupees out of 8, GG developer :^). Things fell through ground without being dragged under, couldn't draw in the sand with stick, unfunny experience and dry jokes. Very nice!
